johnny was right (6:30) rule one did get another spot for mena! well deserved too. they all played amazing, and RW9 got mvp for defensive player!

@@etchay essentially mena has 2 teams guarenteed wildcard but since R1 played super well they themselves ended up getting a main event spot which means an entirely new mena team Twisted Minds will be sent to the wildcard, meaning 3 mena teams at worlds

It’s bitter sweet cause since rule 1 made top 4, they got out of the wildcard and brought another men’s team but caused teams like V1 not to make it.
And of course, Rw9 won defensive MVP

@@metasamsara True, but Zen swept Rw9 in 3v3. I can guarantee you both would much prefer to have the 3s win. Also, despite those 2 losses to Rw9, Zen is still _slightly_ ahead in 1s.
1st match was very well played by all players. 2nd match Rw9s was just toying with them. You could tell they weren't at his level so he slowed down and let them make mistakes. He's very good at adapting to his opponent.
About how the high ping makes for better players once you get on level ping. My soccer coach (I’m from the states obviously) would make us practice on the worst field possible with lots of clumps of grass. He said he learned this from playing in South America and Mexico and seeing how their first touches and catching the ball would be way better than the teams in the states. He said he figured out tho that most of them grew up on the worst pitches and it naturally made their touches and reactions to the ball way better. Kinda like running with weights. So I can see playing lots of high ping could help in the same way for reaction defense and speed on offense.
I totally agree with this theory. I have an idea too and I would like to share it with you.
What if a player always plays Rocket League training but in 1.5x speed for example, I think they would develop a faster reaction time ability, so if they played a ranked game with regular speed, it would seem easier for the player to react and play. I would like to know what you think about it? Would this method improve the player?

jesus rw9 is such a boost hog. Dude picks up a big boost with 85 in tank lol. No wonder Garret had trouble keeping up with him. They really don't mesh well.
He is the best player in the world and i don't care about Zen wank, getting a defensive MVP in your first ever major while you play less matches than the BDS and Vitality players further proves that, he is the best 1v1 player , one if not the best 2v2 player and a defensive major MVP, hard to argue against Rw9 , these are mostly individual achievments while what Zen has are team achievements that is the diffrence
Stats say otherwise and I wasn't gonna say anything until you took shots at Zen for no reason but this is a tbates type statement

Didn't Zen literally just get both the offensive MVP and overall MVP in his first ever major? And a perfect split in his debut split, winning all 3 regionals in the hardest region in the world and then the major on top of that? That must really sit badly with you given your hatred of the player and constant comments trying to discredit him which literally nobody ever agrees with.
Zen is the best 1s, 2s and 3s player right now. It's not hard to argue against Rw9 but it's impossible to argue against Zen right now.
