Great player but I never thought him and Jones together as wing backs worked and was a big part of why we conceded so many goals. Just hope we get someone else in that position.
Gutted, he is probably one of the most consistent Notts players. Was the most important signing (extension) last season for me. Hope he doesn’t destroy us in the mk games this season
Not only is this a shock, but it's bad news. I hugely rate Aaron Nemane. His pace is incredible and he is really shaping up to be a great player. I remember his goal at Walsall, it was the goal of the season. He was a key player. We will miss him, especially on the field.
Nemane didn’t suit our style of play in the EFL in a possession based system. Would work better in a 4-2-3-1. Excited by this grant signing, his CV is far more remarkable than Nemane
Nemane frustrated me most games. Definitely has ability and was great when he ran at players but didn't do it often enough. He would not take his man in enough, choosing to pass inside or backwards. But I wish him well and thank him for his service
Gets in easily in centre matt palmer is injured who's partnering Robbo you can't play Austin there he's not a centre mid there's only Edwards or hinchy
Good player, fast, energetic, gets to the by-line and cuts ball back nice and injury free mostly..... but there it ended. Can't take a throw in, loses confidence and spends 3-4 games backpassing, horrendous defending esp at the back stick (not his fault obvs). Timing shocking but medium/long term a better move as we need physical solid players that can cross and defend and this is a potential weak link removed. You pies!
I'm surprised. I can only think Maynard wants a stronger player in the tackle from at least one wing back. We'll miss his pace, though his end product wasn't always the best. But a great team player for us in recent seasons.
Big loss and seems a shabby way of announcing the departure of a fan favourite, hidden in the lower reaches of the website when I spotted it. Grant had better be good.
Nemane had is moments, wasn't suited to the notts way of playing out from the back. Teams found him to easy to get behind, very defensively poor. A substantial fee has been said plus a player that walked into a league 1 promotion chasing team so definitely no slouch. Good business.

We are gonna miss his quick throw ins 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
But in all honestly he was a player i loved watching, so really gutted
Huge loss. You could really see the difference at Tranmere yesterday. I really hope that Maynard knows what he is doing, but I worry that he doesn’t.

Fair assessment of Nemane. Personally I’m a bit gutted
Honestly gutted. Never thought he would leave and especially not for a player swap.
Player swap plus undisclosed fee

This feels like a massive mistake. He was hugely underrated and the engine behind a lot of the attacks.

Same here wasn't great most of the time
Huge loss for me. Gutted. Always an outlet. Not sure where Grant plays? If it's central not sure how he gets in

Didn’t see this till after the tranmere game. Agree with others. Haven’t seen the alternatives play yet but he will potentially be a big miss.
Gutted he got motm today for mkdons aswell

So when do we buy a striker
He's a good player however he can be really frustrating but hopefully we got a stack for him

very surprised but that's football
Massive loss period

Good business.
When were top three after ten games and everyone is singing SMs black n white army well be saying Nemane who.
Underwhelming. Well at least Notts have signed another squad filler.
Namane is a fantastic player big loss
We got the better deal lol. Nemane couldn't defend
