How great is this ? The Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle Tour was my first time seeing the Stones. I can still remember how I felt in Wembley over thirty years ago ! The energy & excitement. Oh, the good old days. They were brilliant. Apart from the music, Mick chasing Ronnie on stage, Keith's banter with the crowd and Charlie's expressions during it all. The icing on the cake being Bobby Keys' saxophone solo on Brown Sugar. I still get goosebumps. RIP.
Mick,Keith, Ronnie and Bill are killing it on the stage 🎉🎉. Charlie is amazing on the drums as always. Charlie is always on point 🎉🎉. Mick his vocals are phenomenal 🎉🎉
yup this or the 81... i mean. they are great now too. but this show is the end of that 80s era. they really do sorta reinvent what the top is and stay there ... in 89.... this tour is the king of victory laps... makes me sad thinking of those lost seven years. x pensive winos was cool though... stones forever!

He said you wanted to play Paint It Black and the lights were flashing to Ruby Tuesday. Charlie Watts said pretty much the same thing. Same set list, every night. I enjoyed the 99 No Security Tour. Diverse set lists and the band enjoyed themselves on that one. Thanks for posting.

*sigh* Mick Taylor LEFT the band. I met him in 1989 at a small club in southern Ontario. I got to have a short conversation with him. In short? He told me he had to run for his life. (Drugs) Fast forward 14 years later, to 1989, he said he didn't know why he left the band. He's a gentle sweet guy. Ron Wood has been in the band for 45 years. You need to accept that, friend.

As a side note, during rehearsals a few years ago, Keith ducked out to be with his daughter. She was due to give birth. Mick Taylor stepped in for Keith during rehearsals for a night or two. Now, THAT is something I'd love to hear!
