This video is a ranking of the Pacific Athletic Conference's fight songs. I always rank them from least favorite to most favorite. Keep in mind that this list is my opinion and mine only. Also, I DO NOT TAKE CREDIT FOR THE AUDIO AND IMAGES IN THE VIDEO. This video was made for entertainment purposes only.

The teams in the PAC 12 are: Arizona, Arizona State, California, Colorado, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington, and Washington State.
Colorado's fight song is Fight CU, but the song is too short, so I also included Glory Colorado and Go Colorado to increase the time.

I will say, if Washington's fight song was played this fast every time, it'd be higher, probably at number 5. However, the official tempo that they actually play at during games is too slow for me.

USC has the best Pac 12 fight song in my opinion.
I don't think I've ever watched this before until now somehow. Stanford's reminds me of the old ncaa basketball games, and SC's is my favorite in the pac-12

I’m shocked that Arizona got ranked over Arizona State. Both have good fight songs but in my opinion Maroon and Gold is an absolute killer. Nevertheless, great work! I can agree with USC and Oregon getting a top spot on the list.
Shadow_Greninja yeah some of the rankings in this conference were hard to call, one day I might like state better, and one another day I might Arizona’s better.
Arizona's fight song, like their colors, is pretty generic and boring. I'm surprised it got ranked so high.

Hydra The tune for Arizona’s fight song sounds like it’s an option for the create-a-team mode in NCAA Football 2014 (RIP). To me, it’s uninspiring and boring. Their other song, Bear Down Arizona, is much better in my opinion.

That’s because the first 1:10 or so of the fight song is All Right Now by Free which came out in 1970.
I'm a pretty big Trojan fan but ironically for a high school several years ago, I had to learn Sons of Westwood for their fight song part of a marching band camp I attended to get more training. It's not bad, and I was surprised that Sons of Westwood was not included in this video.
I can answer to that one. "Sons of Westwood" took the melody of an older fight song belonging to Cal and changed the words. In the early 1980's, the Cal band demanded UCLA get their own fight song at which point they commissioned the current one.
As a Michigan fan, my high school's fight song was Across the Field. I know your pain.

@@Hokie4Life I was surprised CU’s was low. I personally have it high on mine. I hate USC’s fight song because it seems to be the only song they know and it gets annoying. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great song, it’s just gotten annoying how often it’s played. Gain of 1 yard? Fight song. Fight on the field? Fight song. Ref’s decided to take off their clothes and streak across the field? Fight song.

As someone who's lived in the South and Midwest I had not heard Washington State's song before today but I think it's terrific!
Went to Washington State in 1993-1994.......it really is a party school out in the middle of nowhere.......Gameday out there recently had many of us celebrating

Oregon's song is the best of the bunch and really should be #1. Now I liked the old UCLA song and missed hearing it-- now I thought the band still played it.
Never heard Arizona's fight song before, but it's tuneful and optimistic sounding. And Utah's song is quite delightful-- it sounds like a drinking song in pubs from the early 20th century (unusual for a state school in a mostly Mormon state).
Wazzu fight song is way too low. It’s one of the most underrated fight song imo.

Arizona's fight song only belongs at #11 because I'm an ASU alum, not because it is bad. I think, as much as I hate them, USC's is much better than Oregon's. Oregon's is okay...better than my Maroon and Gold, but it does not belong at the top.. top 5 maybe, but I like Cal's and Washington's much better than Utah's. Utah's sounds like a high school band was playing. Utah's does not belong even in the top 5. Sorry to say I agree with you. As a rival, I hate 'em, and HATE their song (because it stays with me for way too long) but it has to be the Pac-12 best.
With the Cal fight song you used, it was Fight For California which is also one of UCLA's fight song. Their main fight song I do believe is Big-C. Don't quote me on that though, I could be wrong

@@FightSongGuy Fight For California is indeed the official University of California fight song. The Southern Branch band director actually took it in the 1960's from a version composed for an annual event that featured the Cal Band, the UC Los Angeles Band, and the Cal Aggie Band-uh.

USC's Fight On is Ranked the best Fight Song of all time. It's simple and sticks to the point. TMB (Trojan Marching Band) known as “Hollywood’s Band,” and named the “Best Band in College Football” by USA Today, The Spirit of Troy has not missed a USC football game at home or on the road since 1987. This song is usually played after first downs and touchdowns. The music for USC's fight song, "Fight On," was composed in 1922 by USC dental student Milo Sweet (with lyrics by Sweet and Glen Grant) as an entry in a Trojan spirit contest. In addition to inspiring generations of Trojan fans and players, the song has been used in numerous recordings and movies. Legend has it that during World War II in the Pacific, an American task force attacked an island held by the Japanese. As the Americans stormed the beach, "Fight On' blared from the deck of one of the transports. The U.S. men let out a tremendous roar and eventually won the island. The band can be heard on the soundtrack to the 2013 animated feature The Croods and seen in such films as The Naked Gun and the Academy Award-winning Forrest Gump. Indeed, the Academy Awards telecast itself has featured the band three times: in 1976, 2000 and 2009. At the 81st Annual Academy Awards, the drumline - in top hats and tuxes - accompanied Beyoncé and Hugh Jackman in a Baz Luhrmann-produced salute to the Hollywood musical. Earlier that year, the band appeared at the 51st Grammy Awards, collaborating with British alternative rock group Radiohead on one of the most acclaimed performances of the night. This was the TMB’s second appearance on the Grammys in five years.
Some of the TMB’s other television appearances include guest spots on Carpool Karaoke: The Series, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Dancing with the Stars, Glee, America’s Got Talent, How I Met Your Mother, American Idol and SportsCenter. In 2007 the band broke into the world of major print media with an appearance in the prestigious Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The TMB was one of two college marching bands chosen for this first-of-its-kind pictorial, which featured thirteen pages of supermodels posed with band members. In 2013 the band appeared in a pictorial for Vanity Fair’s annual Hollywood Issue.
Dating back to John Philip ’s appearance with the band in 1924, the band has continuously attracted famous guest artists. Henry Mancini, Diana Ross, Neil Diamond, Slash, Jason Derulo and USC Alumnus Dexter Holland of The Offspring have all appeared with the TMB. The Spirit of Troy made its own guest appearances with the rock group Fleetwood Mac on its 1979 album Tusk and its reunion album The Dance in 1997. Combined, the records sold over seven million copies, earning the band worldwide notoriety and two platinum albums, a feat unmatched by any other collegiate band. The TMB also made history by performing with the alt rock band Coheed and Cambria on the main stage of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in 2010. The band has returned twice since, performing with ODESZA in 2015 and Major Lazer in 2016.
During its summer vacations, the band stays busy traveling the world as goodwill ambassadors for the university. The Spirit of Troy performed for the 50th Anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, France; at a private reception in 2002 for First Lady Laura Bush in Prague; on the Great Wall of China in 2004; in front of the Roman Colosseum in 2006 and on Rio de Janeiro’s Ipanema Beach in 2008. In 2018 the band visited Ireland, performing at Blarney Castle and Dublin Castle on its tour of the island. The band has also had the privilege of performing at six World Expositions in the last 25 years: Brisbane 1988, Seville 1992, Lisbon 1998, Aichi 2005, Shanghai 2010 and, most recently, Milan’s Expo 2015 where the band performed for USA National Day. NO OTHER COLLEGE BAND OR FIGHT SONG IS BETTER THAN FIGHTON. STOP HATING AND DO THAT RESEARCH!!

Washington state's fight song sounds like a tv commercial
There’s a lot of hating on the University of Arizona Fight song, while it’s not even the schools current fight song. It is the original fight song for the school, but the newer fight song is called “bear down”. If you ever edit this list, use this song instead and make sure to listen to the full version, not just the short one.

Thanks for using the Meow Mix Song, err, Mighty Bruins for UC Los Angeles, not their bastardized version of Cal's 'Big C'. I mean, after all, Big C was written 14 years before the Southern Branch of the University of California even came into existence.

I think maybe you should reconsider WSU's... they recently modernized theirs with some really nice mellophone/sax counterline, and the weird up-tempo one in this video is never played. Just some thoughts from a Cougar marching band member!
Fight for California is my favorite because of the lyrics although they aren't usually sung. But Stanford's fight song is catchy. Also Cal Wins Big Game 2023!
