Good morning dear Colette, it’s so good to hear from you again today. I’m sure having a freshen up of your studio will have helped you feel better. We, your friends, are all here FOR you and BECAUSE of you, and I for one am so very grateful for your channel and for sharing your beloved Bealtaine with us. It’s a peaceful sanctuary in difficult times, that’s for sure. There’s so much we can’t control right now, it is at times quite overwhelming. So … deep breath in and a long slow breath out, tapping into the collective love and energy of this wonderful community. My dear, don’t let the evil in the world get a foothold in your life, or it wins. You’re a beacon of light, shine.
As an astrologer, I can tell you that the transiting planets are playing havoc with all of us. Then lets add the solar flares and boom sometimes we just need to have a messy spot that need work. After all, if we get it ALL DONE what’s next?!?!?! Not that we run out of things to do - we just need to see the turmoil that might be on the inside so we can sort it out. As an artist, my studio is always filed with scraps and bits scattered everywhere. BUT…..ITS LIKE W,C, FIELDS in that old movie, “the Bank Dick”. He has a roll-top desk that is a total disaster, but he knows where every piece of paper is and grabs it when he needs it. I love you and your ways. Bless you MUM and Bless You
I feel so dissapointed too Colette. The lack of diplomacy from all the so called leaders is mind blowing they seem unaffected by all the loss and murder. Money is fuel to the flames diplomacy and peace now in the name of our beloved mother earth.

A wise woman I know says "In a time of so much destruction - create something!". For Mother Earth it is a time of renewal and rejoicing! Your woodland gardens will bring you solace, let the Goddess rejuvenate your spirit as you plant and tend. ❤
Good morning from SW Florida, Colette. As an empath myself, I must continually seek balance to maintain strength and clarity. If the door is open to the world for too long, or to too many ... events, it takes even more of my energy to close the door, find my center, and rejuvenate. We do ourselves no good trying to tend all the fires set by others. May I suggest, as I remind myself, we must seek a healthy balance first. I too feel out of sorts currently from absorbing too much ... information. Once clarity has returned, I plan on setting a limit (again) on what I see and hear, but cannot change ... to focus on my garden, studio, close friends, and family. Good. Now we've nothing to do but make a start.

Yes, pets do absorb our feelings. Did you know that it is advised to have more than one pet per household because they are overwhelmed by all the feelings so 2-3 pets share equally! I found this info quite fascinating ☺️

I have never bought anything on Amazon. I have to see and touch the things I buy, and smell them.
I hurt for the world ,too. So hard to enjoy a cup of tea when so many can not even have that small comfort.

Evil always ends up eating its own tail. In the meantime life flows powerfully forward.This time will pass and Mother Nature will go on. Being an empath can be difficult at times but it’s also such a blessing the way that same empathy allows for deep connection to nature, animals and people. I believe that empathy is a magical quality.

It's so heavy and dark out there & extremely challenging to feel 100% happy right now Colette with all that's happening. We just have to do the best we can in each moment. I can't take much media apart from YT .And you call that room messy?😆 My messy room is stuck with washing and ironing and stuff and have yet to sort it all out. Anyway we have to go through these times if we ever want to see the improvements on the other side, it will be so worth it 🙏💪stick together humans 😊🥰❤️🌳🌳🌳

Love your little nook. I never feel better when I have my kitty on my lap and am surrounded by my books. Living in a small town in the state of Connecticut I tend to stay in my bubble of stability. Just watching the news can make one depressed. Your beautiful sanctuary is a blessing. The simple things like blooming flowers lift up one's spirits. I was walking around our local lake and spotted some turtles. It made we so happy and cheerful. A sign of spring and things to come. Love seeing you and the wee girl in your little patch of heaven. You bring many of us joy!
Good morning Collette ,i think we all feel down and disheartened at times ,esp if i start thinking of what those in high positions are doing and should be doing ,im watching ypur blog as i write ,and i think even the Sky and all of nature is abhorred by all the sinfulness of "man", and we little ones here at the bottom of the big ladder can do nothing ,but look to The Almighty, ,Smile and keep going , Anne ,Athenry,,we share the same dark rain clouds and Hail yesterday , and beautiful sun inbetween , Keep your heart up ,❤,
Hello Colette & Patsy lovely to see you both again.💕 On Thursday I went to my local town and was quite shocked at all the closed shops that are now charity shops that I've never heard of? Lots of shoplifting in the few that remain open, though one had closed one of their entrances due to the increase in stealing. We do have a ⛴️ that houses lots of people from afar nearby. It's a strange 🌍 isn't it.

Just my view, live is the opposite of evil..for our own integrity we need to call evil for what it is. No media,they are corrupt by the pied piper who pays the tune and dictates the tune too. Dear Collette I identify and empathise with you. Being an empath can be a blessing and a curse. I am ever aware of the mega suffering of animals exploited by greedy corporations. The dairy cow ever forced to be a milk machine, Her babies disposed of at birth. Animals in experiments. Such abhorrence never leaves me. I am a vegan. I love your cottage my home is similar, bits n pieces of stuff here and there reflect an abundance of interest and artistry.

Beautiful garden...so nice to see it. I am looking forward to a day I will have one like this, as well.❤️Its basically still winter here in the Catskills. Though there is some stirring... The Jonquils are starting to come up and noticed yesterday that my neighbor's Forsythia does have some tiny buds, so it will be blooming soon and will be time to plant my snow peas, no matter how cold it still is (I am allowed some containers to plant in here). My lemon balm has not awoken yet. Yes, even just my small container garden soothes my soul. Fellow empath and sending much love to you and all❤️

Oh, one other thing: I had 3 cats from the same litter. They lived to be 15, 17 and 17-1/2. They remember and mourn the loss of their littermates visibly (i.e. appetite, changed interactions with people, etc). I agree they do have the ability to live in the present, though, by far more than we do. Love your videos!
Good morning Colette. I do love visiting your cottage in its woodland. I find inspiration in the natural beauty you have created outside, and the eclectic collection of pieces both found and gifted inside. Your concerns challenge my thoughts, as rather like another writer, I have tended to withdraw from the world as I have aged. I love your courage in continuing to face any troubles and wish you strength to continue. Next month I will order the second of your books to read in the winter months of the Antipodes. (Isn’t that a hoot of a word?) I’m enjoying falling into Autumn just now. Looking forward to my first wood fire. Thank you for your contribution to my peaceful refuge.😊

I don't believe we cannot change things, nor did martin luther king, ghandi, mother theresa and many change makers who took history into a new direction. I know we can all do something. I tell my kids that too, we can always create change, always.!

A bit of a clear out and a few days juicing really helps. I was feeling so tired recently, down and achey. I remembered how good I felt when I drank celery juice every morning. I felt like super woman when I did that. I’ve started celery, green apple and cucumber juice every morning. It’s really balanced me. Empath here too. Yes it's hard rn. I'm not going to say switch it off . I'm glad you have the courage to face the suffering in the world. So many just say oh there's nothing you can do, just don't watch it. Bet your da didn't sit back and do nothing. The apathy of the west is a massive part of the problem imo, Im glad people are protesting, putting videos up and boycotting. We do have power, they want us to fall into apathy and to close our eyes to the atrocity that the west is aiding, i am proud of you for not flinching from it. Please keep grounded, keep doing what you love everyday but also don't turn a blind eye. We must all be wide awake, we must take a stand over and over, only the sleep walkers close their eyes to geno*c ide etc .. honestly, be proud that you care so much, yes it's a burden it is for me too, but there are millions of us around the world standing on the right side of history, I know I can say I did not close my eyes, I did not turn away, I stood up, I spoke up. We are part of a much bigger picture. So I say, don't listen to the weak ones, you know you are here to see the truth. Jesus said my people perish through lack of knowledge and imo many will perish thru closing their eyes because "they can't cope". Nonsense, we are made of strong stuff, we are warriors of light, we do not close our eyes and scurry away because it's hard. I always think if my kids were being hurt wud I want people to speak up an try and help, and yes i wud. This collective apathy is understandable but pathetic. Keep going collette, keep with mother earth but keep your eyes open, blessings dear one 👀

Love the old radio set……..takes me back to my granny’s farmhouse when I was a child, sitting with granny listening to the Archers each day. I still enjoy the Archers Omnibus each week. The theme tune takes me back to granny’s house, the two of us enjoying quiet time before she had to start preparing tea for Granda coming back in from the fields later😍

100% understand, As an empath I've had to truly be careful & watch myself last 4 yrs! more now, its incredibly challenging & health impacted. As a Reiki Master, teacher & practitioner I always said like ona plane "Put the mask on yourself first before helping others" We're no use to ourselves or others if we're burnt out or shattered. Thank you for sharing this video with us. It's hard right now, like you and many here I too am an empath since being a child. Lately I have found myself angry at so much suffering and injustice, I look at people and governments who don't react and I'm just unable to comprehend why. Mother earth is beautiful in all her glory, but she's struggling too. The chem trails here over Alicante area are criminal and our sky for the last few days hasn't been a natural sky. I've only been able to cope because my little house has spring right through it, the wood burner burns away and I feel safe with my family whilst we do some art work. Our lovely big dog doesn't want to be outside very much either, so he lies and snores just accepting what it is at the moment.
I've started a cleanse and it does help, I pray that all of this madness ends soon, butwhat is so wonderful here is knowing how many empaths are all over the world , writing messages because of you. As you're an empath, closing your channel might lessen what you pick up but all the bad stuff is in the 'field'. We get brushed anyway. We need things like tour channel to try to create some balance. Well, and I for one could use stronger boundaries! Keep on doing what you're doing. You and your fairy gardens are needed.

I'm on the edge of kicking my job in the ass as a doctor.
I ask myself why am I doing this when I have my 16 acres and I work at that every chance I get.

A mantra that helps me is "What you focus on expands - so make it good" - works for me when the world disappoints me. And I quite agree, a tin roof is such a blessing when it rains. Every little cottage I've lived in in NZ has had a corrugated iron roof. When I visited my Mum back in the UK, I felt so cut off to see it raining and not be able to hear it!

I just love the view out your window Colette. Through the lovely stained glass piece and candle. Oh Colette, I too am looking around my house of the clutters to clear out. I have to chuckle at myself. Last Friday evening I took a tumble carrying laundry downstairs. Fractured fibula in the leg leg. And a severe sprain in the right ankle. When I do it..I do it good. Off from work at least a month or more. Crutches are my latest accessory.
So frustrating at 66yrs. & Always independent and the familys caregiver. I am blessed though to have my youngest grandson 17 living with me and his two fur babies. He has taken over everything. With strick instructions of " just ask me and I'll do it Nana" So I shant not focus on what I cannot do, I shall focus on what I can. Must stay proactive and positive. So I shall sit in my vanity chair and unclutter my bedroom dresser and give it a good dusting. Blessings and hugs from Kentucky 💗🌿🌸🐦

Hello Colette, I too am an Empath, I feel the energies around globally , also the in balance of those that have and not have. Generations go by and each one has different dictates. I often wonder about my Grandparents generation, as they got older they had more insight and wisdom after so much disregard for humanity and Goddess Gaia. during their early years, but they knew how to appreciate what they had and how to enjoy life, each day at a time.
That's how we must be live life to the full, enjoy what we do best.Love and Light to all. 🌹💚
I appreciate knowing I am not the only person with that one location in the house that is not picture perfect. My "walk-in" closet is not currently able to be walked in. I have "reorganized" it countless times, yet a month later, it's back to disorganized. Thank you for your continued sharing of your life.

Thank you for sharing this. I have a couple of rooms that have been my “out of sight out of mind “ behind closed doors. I’m finding it difficult to “attack “ this self made “ situation “ or as my daughter says “hoarding “. I don’t look at it that way but I definitely have let my hobbies of sewing, crocheting, spinning and other crafts accumulate over time. I’m “organizing “ my mind 😉. I’m also dealing with sadness for a variety of reasons. I try to remember that most things are out of my control so I work on what I can do and pray for the rest of those things.
