The Calamity Mod is a large content mod for Terraria which adds many hours of endgame content and dozens of enemies and bosses dispersed throughout the vanilla game's progression. The Calamity Mod also features several harder difficulty modes, five new biomes and new structures, a new class, a new leveling mechanic, more than forty new songs, over fifty recipes for previously uncraftable vanilla items and other assorted changes to vanilla gameplay.

it should be if you wait a really long time and dont pick a exo-mech to fight when the fight starts, and then draedon will say something like "So, you think you are clever stalling me out? Well... I suppose I'll fight fire with fire." or something along those lines and hypnos will be summoned as the first boss, replacing thanatos, acting as an enraged version of the boss fight and a little secret

The Hypnos boss in that video was made by YuH, the main developer of calamity vanities, who recently became a calamity dev too. They are also pretty involved with the wiki and documenting the mod history.
To clear any bit of speculation, Hypnos is never going to be in the main mod. YuH's creation is a great meme, and he may do whatever he wants with it.

i was literally looking at exo mechs wiki and found out about the 00-hypno boss fight. i was very shocked when i was not seeing anything related on youtube. i even tried summoning the boss in game with the bloody vein. nice that someone is talking about this fake boss (it would be really cool to have it in the game though)

or maybe there's an invisible 4th option underneath the player which allows you to switch between the "page" with the regular exo mechs and the "page" with hypnos

Exo mechs 01 and 03 are artemis and apollo, 05 is thanatos and 09 is ares. Why is there no 07?

Maybe Hypnos was 07 but Draedon scrapped it due to a lackluster combat performance or something.

Being honest, a crimson variant for the mechs is a good idea, like a destroyer but brain and Thanatos but Hypnos, being able to fight a buffed version of the counterpart with draedon asking you if you want other challenge, that maybe that mech were on preparations the first fight but now its ready and stronget than the others, explaining the buff of the boss.
Just to fight it if you are on a crimson world and you want the "Spine of Thanatos"

On the Calamity Vanaties server developer YuH is working on making the Hypnos boss. The video you played of someone fighting Hypnos was made by YuH.

I feel like this is secretly a teaser for the next major update of calamity from the devs.
I can confirm, the developers are even implementing a pet for this. This is absolutely a leak.

The wall of flesh exo-mech should be purple themed and named "Jupiter".
it would be the strongest one and before you fight the mechs you can choose if want to fight other mechs or you want to fight jupiter.
it would be the only mech that drops magic exo weapon.

This has to be a next boss, cause I feel like it's way too big of a coincidence that they picked the name Thanatos without accounting for the fact that he has a brother named Hypnos, it's just the perfect name for the Exo mech version of BoC

I saw someone on discord posted a screenshot of a spawn message in chat that read "The world seems to distort around you..." and supposedly fought the boss but lost. I thought it was real but I guess not.
I came here after i was trolled by the wiki page. I was just looking for the Exo Mechs wiki page, and then i accidentaly saw the Hypnos page, it is still exists and it looked very real. However, the spawn method didn't work and i checked that Hypnos cannot be found with cheat sheet as well as all items dropped by it, so i was jebaited. But why is it on Wiki page and pretends to be completely real?!
I don’t get what the XP-00 is for as it’s not souls. If I had made it I would have named it OC-RM Hypnos (Ocram reference lol) If I had to make a guess I’d guess that it’s someone putting on their fan made mod on the wiki to gain more traction once it comes out
That should be a boss that only is accessable and only shows up if you have a mod that adds a mechanical brain boss.
I'ma say this is probably just a fan sprite made by someone who copied the exo mechs colour schemes and rendering fairly closely.
I wonder if we're gonna get an exo mech Zeus. While the exo mechs fight is good, it feels lackluster considering how important Draedon is in the lore. Maybe it'll be a secret post-Yharim boss.

@@ZudinGodofWar he was basically Yharim's right hand man. He created Yharim and DoG's armor, the Calamitas clones, the Dragonfollies and the jungle plague. He also created Ceaseless Void's casing with a little help from Calamitas.

I've seen Hypnos before on the wiki and I thought to myself "Hey, that's a perfect boss idea". But now I realized that I can't fight it right now, so it's pretty sad.

ngl, if they did add it as a phase they'd need to give it heavy alterations to what was shown in that video, those projectile patterns would likely throw off the balance of the triple bot phase (at least, what little balance there is in that phase xD)

Hypnos isn't part of the exo mechs battle as it serves a form or Life-Extending machine for Yharim, build by Draedon for the purpose of keeping him alive long past the average terrarian lifespan. How else has this one man done so much, in just one lifetime? Simple; it wasn't just 1 lifetime he was living for
Interesting theory but at birth Yharim is not a regular terrarian, I mean he managed to trap a powerful ice wizard in the dude's own castle when he was only young
that or Hypnos IS Draedon and that he is NOT a terrarian, the thing that we see as "Draedon" is just a proxy body
