I'll be honest, RFS was my first flight sim, cause my parents aren't those types that like to spend money on "less important things" so I played RFS demo for three years like. But when I could get pro I instantly promised myself that I'd used those money only on RFS.
U know why? When I tried for the first time Infinite flight I didn't know that EVERY SINGLE AIRCRAFT would have cost me €5,49 or something like that, but in RFS with less cents you can buy the entire pro version.
So I decided that because of the lower cost, for its really rapid development rate (I mean 214 updates in 4 years????? That's insane!!) and for its graphics that maybe are still a little "cartoonish" but still better than some horrific sims' graphics, RFS is the best sims in my opinion.

RFS is more fully featured but there’s something weird about it I can’t quite put my finger on. It feels very “cold” and the overall look has this PlayStation 1 sort of feel. IF has a more comfortable/friendly atmosphere and the community is top notch…short VFR, transcontinental, ATC sessions…it’s all good. The weather, etc. aren’t as full as RFS but to be honest, (even on my M2 ipad pro) the weather and lighting in RFS look like moving pictures moreso than a flowing sim experience.

RFS has the bigger development team than Infinite Flight. Also, they made a lot of different games in the past so they have a bigger budget.

I personally LOVE Infinite Flight because it is just more enjoyable to me. And I see people saying IF is bad but keep in mind, IF is like 12 years old, so… 🤓

True,it's an OG game to the aviation community and always will be but really lemme ask you this...what have they done to the game in 12 years IN COMPARISON to what RFS has done in half of that time
If RFS keeps up their update routine and software updates and textures and additions,RFS will become a lot more smoother and realistic and 'enjoyable' because of that wouldn't y'all think?
Infinite flight is more for pro pilot training while RFS is more for fun, IF has better physics

I'm not sure tho, the simulation part is the most important. So both are as good, since rfs has better attention to detail, and If cares about the simulation. Both are good. Try them both man!

Alright respect but I will always ove the physics in Infinite Flights.
Definitely. It has a lot more features than IF, however, I feel that the game is severely lacking when it comes to the non-pro players. On 3 aircraft are free, which for some reason doesn't include the GA aircraft, and with the amount of new features that have been added, has too little. More aircraft need to be made accessible to the players without a Pro subscription, along with more features.
