Marcin is a maestro of the guitar to say the least. This is his own composition! And this duo with another guitar master Tim Henson is just great! Marcin is obviously talented and has his own style of playing that he developed. He started studying classical at the age of 10 and then studied flamenco with a master a few years later. He wanted more freedom with the music and created his own strumming and tapping style. He has said something to the effect of “I bought the whole guitar and I’m going to play the whole guitar!” So the percussion sounds that you hear are all of his thumping with different parts of his hand, tapping with his fingernails and scratching on the scratch pad that is part of his guitar. That is his own Marcin Ibanez guitar( MRC10 I think).
    Any way he’s great.
He has a lot of great music original and otherwise.
Maybe checkout Kashmere on one guitar or Still DRE on one guitar! You won’t be sorry!

You've just witnessed a collaboration of the 2 best guitar players in the world.
Marcin, 23 yrs old (from Poland) wrote this in 2021, and Tim Henson, 7 years his elder, is in the band Polyphia.
The "Carlos Santana" sound you were referring to is called "Flamenco" style, which Marcin learned at age 10 from a well known classical/flamenco guitarist.
Also, there were no drums in the song, that was Marcin playing his palm on the wood if the guitar. He is like no other guitar player in the world. Amazing.
    Thanks for the review!

What you have seen are two of the best virtuoso guitarists in the world, and you will not soon see something better for the instrument.

Great reaction! I would strongly recommend Marcin's arrangements of Ain't No Sunshine and Carmen Habenera. From Tim Henson, the Unplugged version of Playing God is just jaw-dropping so definitely check that out as well.

Marcin and Tim play the only guitars in the world, made for them by Ibanez and signed with their names. Both instruments are classical guitars. Marcin's guitar is an MRC model, Tim's is a TOD model. Marcin's guitar was invented by him and his dad. It is designed to behave like a kahon, and also has a scratcher to produce percussion sounds.
