I largely learned how to play Infinity from the Operation Icestorm batrep when the channel was Beasts of War. These batreps are always a great cornerstone of Infinity content. Love it!
I just want to play this with my brother, this game has helped us grow closer and get out of a bad funk we were both in. We hope to get more minis regardless!
Great Batrep, you can feel. The influence of the dice gods against Bostria there with the evil door, but it was good fun! Really need to get my hands on the new rules to start list building
Making armour saves roll at or under the target number is a great idea and will benefit new players because it’s now consistent with other dice rolls in the game. I started playing with N3 and it’s going to take some time to get used to if watching this battle report is anything to go by 😂😂😂
I like that the terrain is a different style from the pieces of a lot of previous/lately sets, much more incentive to pick it up then "more" square block terrain

I have been waiting on a refresh of the rules to get into infinity. This was a huge win for me this coming out with both of these faction. I really like the PanOceania and I was actually liking the ninjas in the Yu Jing. Its really cool that the JSA are going to be their own thing now. This is definitely the set I have been waiting for. I think I am leaning more toward the PanOceania at this time. Thanks for your video!!
I'm looking forward to N5. A friend introduced me Infinity sometime ago but I never did more than learn some of the lore and setting. N5 seems like a good opportunity for me to start playing.
I'm picturing me this guy, sweating in his armour after the fourth failed try on the digicode at the door, HQ yelling at him on the comm, and all his colleagues getting blown up around him. Very cinematic, pure tragedy. 😅
I think I'll need to watch this a few times to get the basics down. It does seem like a fun starter with terrain and all the interaction the minis have with their environment.
POS seems like a more natural roll as you are now in line with the rest of the rolls. Looking forward to see the full rules. Also rhe terrain in the pack looks amazing.
The new terrain looks really good is something that only really just clicked with me as well, I've loved the previous terrain packs in N3 and N4 and they do only seem to keep getting better.
Well I’ve been looking to get into infinity for a while and been looking at Ariadna… tho jumping in here with these two forces as a nice start - can easily pick up some Bolts, Orca’s, Fusiliers and Herlots to bulk up both a standard PanO force or Sectorial. Tho will still likely go for Ariadna first chance I get after.
Great battle report! I think it would be nice to have an option to spend an entire order to automatically succeed in pushing the door button with the specialist, after a failed attempt. It can get frustrating, being forced to waste orders on that and keep failing just for constant bad luck with unopposed rolls. That being said, Infinity is still my favourite game out there! Good job CB
