Brother A few days ago I liked some rubies. Very pretty By the way, One of them is a little over eight carats. The other is over 12 carats. From Mozambique, the color of pigeon's blood. Very beautiful, natural, unheated, dad. Believe me, they are beautiful. I don't have them certified. I already checked them with a magnifying glass. Very good rubies.

You are young and have a lot to learn and patience is something you need to work on. People doing millions of $ of deals and your the only one not chilled out. Learn to say please and thank you. Storming around Bangkok bagging your hosts wont get you far in the Gem business. Your personality prevents people from showing you their best. You have to learn to interact with people. in a polite humble respectful manner.

Spinel in British crown "Black prince ruby" is from Tajikistan, from Pamir mountains. Thats where the first spinels centuries ago was found. And Spinel is hardness 8. So thats why its increasing in price also, cause it is very good option for engagement/wedding rings now, when rubies are super expensive.....Everything under 8 is pretty soft for everyday use.....thats why for example tanzanite are so "cheap"
Some very good moments in the video. I agree with your statement that gems are rocks after all. I am of the opinion that spinels, rubies, diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, and some others are simply too over-priced. I mean, compared to other commodities, they certainly are. Illiquid, offers little to no utility, yet commands a very high price just because 1) of price manipulation, 2) of perception management via misleading labelling, etc. Personally, I’d buy only undervalued stones or within budget. Even though I’m a huge gemstone lover.
“I finished diamonds because it was quite simple.” You must not know the trade of diamonds. There is always more to learn and it’s not something you learn overnight.
Do u ever purchase anything or do u just waste a bunch of gem dealers time? If you're gonna do this sort of thing u need to go to school for it. I got my education at GIA, and everything I thought that I knew already, I soon found out just how much I had to learn. Get an education because you're looking more like the gem apprentice not the gem expert bro. You'll leave GIA with the ability to appraise, grade, and overall know whatever u need to know about stones, u can take jewelry and bench jeweler classes also and learn to make jewelry. Not trying to put u down man, ur just extremely intelligent and u could earn way more and gain more exposure with an education from GIA, the contacts that come along with the education r worth more to me than having been educated because knowing ppl helps so much when u need something from 1 side of the world and ur on another. Give it a thought man, ur younger than I am and I went to school when I was damn near 40 so it's never too late to make ur mark in the world.
@jessedcruz7173 yea right there where he is in this video, you'll get ur ass smoked quick. Take about a 4 hour drive to Chanthaburi. 1 part of the town is nothing but gemstones on the weekends and that's the ultimate place to go and find all that africa and Thailand has to offer without the hassle of high prices. It's paradise also! It's dirt cheap, great hospitality and no scammer bs!

Queens spinel is from sri Lanka
The stuff on the ruby was oil. They spray it on to give more sheen in light. Kindve obnoxious to have to wash hands after buying rough
