So many incredible memories are attached to this song for all of us! One of my favorites was back in 1973, at the age of 14, when I was in Lake Tahoe on a snow skiing trip with my best friend’s family- the Gunderson’s. She & I were skiing, with the snow glistening beneath us, as this song blasted out across the entire lower part of the mountain!! Every time I hear it, no matter where I am, I relive that experience that incredible, thrilling sense of exhilaration I had in that moment! I’m a young girl anticipating my independence, knowing all of life lays before me, just waiting to be conquered!!
