This was a strange storyline, How could Victor possibly be alive after all that time? He was so sick and weak in 76. Did they ever explain how he faked that?
No & it was ridiculous. They even changed his birthdate from the 20s to 1936 making him only 40 when he died meaning viki was close to 30. So I guess victor had her at 10. Esp the flashbacks of victor as an old man when viki was a teen or flashbacks redone of him getting smothered he looks about 80. It got too cartoonish & campy after 03 from 2000 & on it was all these long lost children related to the lords bukes or cramers. Also totally plot driven & not character driven.
@@natalieps2387 They never changed Victor's birth year to 1936. It's always been 1916. After this aired, whenever they showed Victor's mausoleum and crypt/grave it showed his birth year as 1916 and death year as 2003 (changed from the original 1976).
@@Derexican that would have made him alive at 87. I made a mistake about the date being 36 I just watched viki in the crypt his bday was changed to 1925.
@@natalieps2387 what clip are you referring to? I literally just checked the Dorian and Viki: The Crypt Part 2 clip and it still shows his birth year as 1916 at the very beginning of the clip. Never seen it changed to 1925
@@Derexican I watched it a few days ago & it came up randomly. It was def after 2003 b/c trevor was playing " todd " ( obviously fake todd as he was later learned to be vic jr ) at that time. I'll try to find it. Also I was confused watching the episode where todd & victor jr. Got the diary from david & david & Dorian were reminiscing about how he got her off death row & david says " yea for a crime you didnt even commit " & Dorian says to herself " or so viki chooses to believe " so I said to myself ok so Dorian is now saying she really did kill victor but then I remembered victor came back alive & some poster told me that Dorian told viki she think mitch hired an imposter. Now that was just one line. I really wish they did a storyline to let viewers know that man really was an imposter cause then it really lessens the 20 year history of " who killed victor lord " & viki having remembered smothering him which was the ending to her powerful emmy winning performance of d.i.d. plus why would victor fake his death? Where was he ? What did he live on since he left every dime his home his paper to viki Dorian & todd. Do u think that was an imposter or the real victor or like me pretend that story didnt exist lol. I stopped watching oltl regularly after roger left in 03 & got back into it in 09. I'd say the shows last excellent year was 94. 95 was still good but inconsistently. 96 was awful & 97 had its moments. 98 to me was the nail in the golden era coffin.
This was one of the DUMBEST storylines OLTL had. But wills and wealth transfer are always so simplistic on TV. Person dies Monday, will read Wednesday, all of the assets transferred on Friday. SMH...
Hated this with victor back. So stupid. So I guess Dorian lost everything too. Dumb they did not mention dorians Inheritance unless she just got money as a widow. I love that asa came with his cowboy hat to protect the lords. It gave me some comfort bc asa dont play. Todd they totally defanged him & got check mated badly by mitch. The viscious cunning todd of 93 would have destroyed mitch but they made him so harmless despite to the towns exposition of how scary he still was. They had to make him a lot softer to remain on the canvas I guess. I also think trevor should have stayed walker. Todd imo was a guy that should not have been recasted. Todd needed a break from llainview as the tnb story just got very redundant & todd needed to get reestablished from all the changes done to the character. On todd message boards he was called dippy the goof & Gilligan bc he just became all slap stick & silly. Growth from the monster he was is fine but him being totally inept & goofy was not a good direction. He should have retained being a bit if a badass. I think Rogers acting at this time was just boredom. He said on Steve burton's podcast he did not understand why the character could not remain a villain. I'd say to that bc
You kind of underestimating how powerful Mitch really was. Its true the 90s Todd would make a good adversary against Mitch but Mitch intelligence, power and cunning is almost equal to Helena Cassadine.Even in jail he is still powerful enough to pose a threat and could pull out dangerous plots to sabotage. His only weakness was his arrogance and overconfidence. Not saying 90s Todd wouldn't stand a chance but him destroying Mitch is a bit of overstatement.

Dumb storyline..Victor was like 80 23 years ago. He's like 103 years when he died a second time. OLTL never explained that acidnide storyline.🤦
Lol Victor was 60 something in the 1970's he was about 80tish or 90tish then
Irene says it's not over!!

how did this happen
Revisionist history. I remember Larry Wolek testifying at Dorian's murder trial that he helped out during Victor's autopsy.
Where in the Hell was Dorian!
Forget Dorian... they need Jean Randolph
Kidnapped i think
