I really liked this intro/overview. He went through all the features and presets and actually let us hear what the instrument sounds like. Not like so many intro vids where they spend so much time saying things like, "...ohh look... and there's a volume knob! You turn it up and it gets lounder, down and it gets softer." Lol! Also, I hate those intro vids where they have a whole band playing in the backround where you can barely hear the instrument, "...so that we can hear what it sounds like in a mix." So, this is a great sounding instrument and nicely demo'ed here. So many great sounding virtual Rhodes out now, it drives me to madness....and bankruptcy, lol! Great demo!
Oh, I forgot to ask, does this work with Kontact5? I have the registered version of that, I never got around to buying 6. When I try to DL the free version of 6 it seems to want to stomp on my full version of 5.
Hey Onli Thanks for the kind words and I am pleased the video was useful. This is a Kontakt Player library so it works with the FREE version of Kontakt 5.7 or higher
@@onlimi616 wonder why? NI’s manager let me install & use kontakt without effecting my kontakt 5. (They don’t call it 6. It’s just kontakt now.) Both show up as choices standalone or in my daw.🤷🏾♂️✌🏾
@@truthmanifestingtruth LA Custom by Spectrasonics is a Rhodes Suitcase right, BUT it´s NOT the original Modell E ! The owner of the original Modell E sampled it with Orange Tree Samples ! Surely they are both very close but the original sampled Modell E is imho by far and away the best reproduction ever. Discussions about the price are possible but not really helpfull. Everybody can choose what he / her likes best ! I will buy the Orange Tree Version !
@@loubamour both Keyscape Rhodes have much more defined attacks & a “tinnier sound”…which is IMO perfect for groovy & R&B soul playing…but for pop & ballad, I’d take the famous E.

Sounds awesome!
The quintessential R&B piano.
the quintessential model and unit!
@@SampleLibraryReviews This or keyscape? I’d probably save some money if I just went with this …
Not a bad library,, but Spectrasonics Keyscape sells for $350.00 and you get all kinds of Rhodes and other electric pianos and Grand Pianos,
Keyscape’s La customs ep is the model e. It would be interesting to hear a shootout. They are both easily very good tools!

@@mrguitar2106 I hear you. I love the products from orange tree samples and spectrasonics✌🏾
@@mrguitar2106 Keyscape sounds better IMO, but in a mix maybe this one is better
