Just awesome jump from the King! :D I consider this 152+ m jump of Ahonen in Willingen to be the best jump of the modern era with Schlierenzauer's 215,5 m in Kulm. Both are so phenomenal and touching performances :),

Prawda jest taka, że modernizacji żadnej w okresie między skokiem Małysza a Ahonena nie było. Nastąpiła jedynie kosmetyczna zmiana punktu K - z 120 na 130m. Z względu, że różnica między punktem K, a rekordem skoczni była zbyt duża. Wystarczy poczytać. Jednak należy zauważyć, że odległość zmierzona Małyszowi jest odległością delikatnie mówiąc "niepewną". Małysz skoczył powyżej obszaru objętego elektrycznymi pomiarami. Trzeba sie było zdać na pomiar sędziów, który dokładny zapewne nie był. Zerkając na obydwa skoki od razu widać, że Adam z pewnością bliżej od Janne nie skoczył. Przyjęto, że skok Małysza był na 151,5m. według opinii sędziów. Jednak powiedzmy sobie szczerze, sam okres wyczekiwania na odległość Małysza świadczy, że pomiar był do zweryfikowania i był daleki od perfekcji. Małysz skoczył zapewne nieco dalej. O ile? Niewiadomo. Kwestia 2-3m. Odległość Janne też wypaczona. Najpierw 155,5, za chwile 152. tak jakby najważniejsze było, że powyżej rekordu. Kto oddał lepszy skok? Trzeba by weryfikować belke, warunki na skoczni i pare innych czynników. Odległości, które zostały przyjęte są raczej podane po prostu dla zasady. Myśle, że sędziowie sami nie wiedzą ile dokładnie skoczył Adam, a ile Janne ;) Jak dla mnie przy porównaniu filmików z skoku obydwóch skoczków, widać, że Małysz lądował na większym wypłaszczeniu. Skoro modernizacji nie było, świadczy to, że Małysz skoczył nieco dalej. Podkreślam nieco. I tak już za bardzo sie rozpisałem.
Wg. mnie pierwszy pomiar odległości u Ahonena był prawidłowy. Na filmie można dostrzec te oznaczenia odległości po bokach skoczni, a były one podczas tego konkursu do 155 metra i dzięki analizie tego materiału można dostrzec, że Ahonen lądował przy końcu oznaczników, a nawet za nimi co by potwierdzało pierwszy pomiar. (momenty 0:15 i 0:58) Analizy skoku Małysza się nie podejmuje, gdyż nie znalazłem wystarczająco dobrego materiału filmowego. Jednak podzielam Twoje zdanie, że skok Małyszowi skrócono.
@megadog103 That's what happened to Janne ;). The measurement equipments could only measure to 152 m, so cause Ahonen jumped much longer, no-one really knew how far he went ;).
its the hill size. meaning: its the shortest connection between the edge of the jump-off plattform and the point where the hill still has a fall of 32 degrees. it serves as the point where the best jumpers should go, meaning the jury has to decide the length of the inrun in a way that the best jumpers reach the hillsize. unfortunately in these days they fail to do that proper lol as they either choose a too long or too short inrun
@Kalakontti Fact Malysz jumped at least 154m but the numbers and the computers couldn't calculate the numbers back then so they gave him most realistic result possible.

Niemożliwe, obejrzyj powtórkę w zwolnionym tempie. Numeracja metrów kończy się na 154m, przypatrz się ,ale tych skoków nikt nie mierzy ręcznie z metrówką i tak. Jeśli system nie wykrywa skoków powyżej 152, to dziwne, organizatorzy powinni być gotowi na taki skok po skoku Małysza 4 LATA WCZEŚNIEJ. W Planicy 24m za HS było.I to była skocznia K120 w 2001, a kiedy skakał Ahonen zmienili już punkt K na 130. Ciekawe, K to się wyznacza już przy budowie, a przebudowa była, ale przed konkursem w 2001.
hm hard to say, schlierenzauer is in my eyes the greatest of all the time and i think he will (finally) get his gold on the large hill. hopefully ex-aequo with janne^^
Is Kulm's hill profile the same than it was during Christian Nagiller's 220 m jump? Anyway, Malysz did his record in Willingen before the ski lenght regulation and with the "bat suit", which gave wings for the jumpers. This Ahonen's jump was done on the first season, when those suits were banned, and the ski length was determined according to the weight of the jumper, and that makes this jump to be even better :).
the more the science makes progress when it comes to the aerodynamics of the suits and the skiis the further the jumps go(especially when u have blessed athletes like schlierenzauer). also the BMI mark they had to achieve was increased. farther jumps pull the abbreviation of the inrun along. that results in less speed. the norwegians are famous for their need of speed as they lack the power in the feet for a powerful jump at the jump-off platform. these changes threw their system up completely

Skocznia przed sezonem 2003/04 przeszła drobną przebudowę - punkt K przeniesiono z 120 na 130 metr, więc tym samym zmieniono trochę profil zeskoku, który umożliwia teraz dłuższe skoki, dlatego Małysz lądował prawie na płaskim, a Ahonen miał jeszcze trochę zapasu.

For me that was 153,5 at least. If you pause at 0:58 you can clearly see white board between yellow boards. This is 150 board. Janne land 3 meters forward.
Wielu zadaje sobie pytanie czy 151,5 Małysza na k-120 w roku 2001 czy 152 Ahonena na K-130 w roku 2005 jest lepszym rekordem skoczni w Willingen. Modernizacji skoczni nie było lecz jest faktem zmiana punktu K ze 120 na 130.Zmiany punktu K nie dokonuje sie dekretem i podpisem lecz wynika to z obliczeń a wiemy że pewne zabiegi kosmetyczne zostały jednak na tej skoczni dokonane. Dlatego do porównania tych dwóch skoków użyłem rezultaty z drugiej serii 5 skoczków którzy zajeli miejsca od 1-5 w konkursie w 2001 i 2005 roku kiedy Małysz uzyskał 151,5 m i jak skakano kiedy Ahonen uzyskał 152m. Porównajmy więc jak innym skoczkom skakało się na skoczni K-120 1.Kantee 146m 2.Małysz 151,5 m 3.Jussilainen 139 m 4.Miahira 134,5 4.Loitzl 135,5 Natomiast na skoczni K-130 1.Ahonen 152m 2. Hoellwarth 146 m 3.Kuettel 141 m 4.Uhrmann 141m 5.Janda 136 Jeśli obliczymy średnią to za czasów Małysza wyniosła ona 141,3 m natomiast kiedy skakał Ahonen ta średnia wynosiła 143,2m. Dla mnie jest oczywiste ze wówczas dawało sie skakać dalej wszystkim. Jeśli to kogoś nie przekonuje to daję przykład z nie istniejącej już skoczni w Ga-Pa o punkcie K-115 kiedy to Małysz uzyskał 129,5 m i wykonał nawet telemark natomiast Ahonen na tej samej skoczni skacząc 129 m nawet nie ustał tego skoku mimo że nawet nie próbował wykonać telemarku. Skacząc 152 m również nie próbował wykonać telemarku i skok ustał ,natomiast Małysz przy skoku na 151,5 m próbował nawet wykonać telemark i jedynie tylko dlatego lekko musnął dłonią śniegu. Gdyby Ahonen skoczył w 2001 roku 152 m wylądowałby w śniegu.

YEAH! janne is finally back again where he belongs lol. and yes ljoekelsoeys was beaten but harri olli had A HUGE wind boost, where ljoekelsoey had none and was the only one jumping beyond the HS at that time, this is why i chose it. nothing against harri, he is really good and im finnland fan^^ and yes, schlieris jump at kulm was awesome but on Kulm you can go way further, did you see Christian Nagillers 220m on kulm? he would even have landed proper but his bonding opened......im austrian btw

@lareman He didnt touch if he would touch the record would be unofficial And Adam jumped NOT in good wind and good weather ;) Adam landed worse than Janne but homie! Adam was scared because he thought that hes gonna fell down because he beat the HR by more than 8 meters So he didnt know that is possible to land there;)
The rules regarding telemark are not very clear, jumper is actually allowed to pull his foot back a little AFTER landing and get decent points. Norwegians have always been strongly against this, but that's another story. It's not the jumpers fault that rules are what they are.
@PLmatiPL Nie wiesz co mówisz człowieku... Hoffer tam nie ma nic do gadania. On jest od tego żeby przekazać wyniki mediom a potwierdzone one już są przez mirana tepesa, Hoffer nie może ich zmieniać. Małysza odległości nie mogli po prostu określić bo komputery nie sięgały tak daleko. Zobaczyli że numerki były do 150 i wymyślili ten wynik Małysza. A żeby nie przesadzać z odległością dali mu 151.5m;p

The rules regarding telemark are not very clear, jumper is actually allowed to pull his foot back a little AFTER landing and get decent points. Norwegians have always been strongly against this, but that's another story. It's not the jumpers fault that rules are what they are.

@PLmatiPL Nie wiesz co mówisz człowieku... Hoffer tam nie ma nic do gadania. On jest od tego żeby przekazać wyniki mediom a potwierdzone one już są przez mirana tepesa, Hoffer nie może ich zmieniać. Małysza odległości nie mogli po prostu określić bo komputery nie sięgały tak daleko. Zobaczyli że numerki były do 150 i wymyślili ten wynik Małysza. A żeby nie przesadzać z odległością dali mu 151.5m;p
