Oh the flesh eaters were just targeting her because she is an animal rights activist and a vegan! Those people are always looking for a chance to condemn those with empathy in areas they are lacking. How a person regards and treats animals tells me all I need to know about that person in spite of work related gossip, oh yeah that’s reliable, lol!

I realized people who say rude things to try to be funny but dont laugh at your jokes are actually sociopaths. Had a coworker i used to laugh when he said mean things to me, later I realized how cruel he was .

Other celebrities have done worse and gotten a pass. I don’t think she’s mean, but it was time for her to take a break from her show.
I believe her also. I think they had a fairly firm policy about people taking time off which always makes some employees mad. Abusing sick time is always a problem in management. Her producers may have been a little inflexible and she may have not been watching the store as closely as she should have but I think the allegations were way over the top. I bet she would have showed up and schmoozed more with the hourlies if she had it to do over. Even with lots of money it's hard to rebuild a reputation.

Ellen is a MONSTER. Everyone who has dealt with her in a service provider position will confirm that. Portia however is lovely.
anyone who has to be ''ON'' like that all the time, would be worn out...which means...on edge and tired. that does not equal mean.
I don’t know Ellen but if I had to choose between watching her or Rosie O Donnell I would choose Rosie. She was accused of being mean too but she was much funnier.

@@PerezHilton she told her people to shooo is away didn’t have time …but she had time to stand there for other people and photos then a small girl said hello your so pretty and she perved her lip up at the little girl that was there totally ignored her! Then on a set after her show refused to sign autographs which people were told she would because why, who knows! It was suppose to be a meet and greet years ago! After that was done….people I guess don’t realize how loud they speak in crowds to their assistants and we heard her!
Sorry, not sorry. She needs to go away forever. The world can survive without her stand-up "comedy."
