I didnt know the shop manager could bark, never heard a peep out of her before in like 1000 videos. I have a Greenworks 2300, it has a little lag, maybe a 2 second lag time to get going but its good. I use it for detailing mostly but its good enough to do 125 ft of driveway, siding, grill, etc...nice machine. This Bauer is very comparable to it.
I have the Giraffe Tools G20 wall-mounted unit. I'm just a DIY guy and use it once or twice a week. I love it for the retractable 65ft. hose and it meets all my needs. I also have a Greenworks unit that still runs fine but currently use the G20 for its convenience.
I am very happy with my Ryobi 2300 electric pressure washer. It performs jobs for not just my car, but around my yard, too. Using MTM stainless steel couplers along with a 50' UberFlex hose and washer nozzles with more GPM help to allow more water flow and less pressure when washing my car.
You say it wont take bugs off the front of a car, then say it wont wash truck wheels then say dont get the over powered gas one. Then this one works great. Then buy it only on a pinch. Bro, which is it? Will it clean mold off concrete and make the concrete back to its almost original color?
I've used the 2000 psi version of the same brand and yes it does clean concrete with just water. If you are serious about detailing you should learn about what chemicals that will cut your time in half. If you pretreat any surface with the right thing it will do absolutely more than you need. Last weekend I washed my front porch and my car with the smaller version and it was much better than expected. Degreaser and regular household Clorox will do almost everything. For mold pretreat with pool cleaner, SH.
Good review. I'd like to add a comment. I usually hit the car with soap first, do the wheels, then rinse. Generally I don't mitt cars - I live in CA and don't do cars that get used off road - I only rinse and boar bristle brush the lower say, 12 inches and then rinse by making a couple or three passes around the car quickly. I've found that not trying to rinse everything at once but making fast passes is quicker. Then, I dry with a big microfiber towel treated with a dry as you wax type product - I put a little of the product in a bucket of water, dip the towel and extract it mostly dry. Then make one quick pass around the car, hit the car with my master blaster to blow the water out of the cracks, crevices and off the wheels and tires, then make a final pass with another towel. That treatment makes the windows come clean with just a dry towel too. All the best.
I recommend using a pressure washer pump lubricant such as the sta-bil product on a semi regular basis. It keeps the pumps clean and protected and I have had good luck using it despite having ridiculously hard water.
I have a 5000psi petrol pressure washer. It's awesome, great on the undercarriage and engine bays. Also you haven't cleaned tyres until you've hit them with 5000psi.
I have the 2000 psi one, and got it on sale for black friday, maybe i shoulda opted for the 2300 Ryobi instead on sale. But i opted to get the Bauer and spent the extra money on a 50’ uberflex hose, 50’ flex zilla garden hose, and 20 bucks to upgrade it to all quick connects as well as an upgraded gun. The hoses that come on the washers basically can be put in the trash asap unless spending a lot more on a german brand or something of the sort. But to me those upgrades are almost mandatory to have a time saving ease of use seamless experience even for jus occasional use washing my truck
90 day warantee is way to short for $250.00. Atleast it's brushless so hopefully it will last for a while...I'm still debating but I may purchase it on Friday to try it out...I also want to try out the turbo wand it comes with to see how much more pressure it can generate. Great Video...
Saw one review of other Electric washers. One guy put on a pressure gauge to see if the claim met the actual pressure. He was testing the 3,000 psi. Different tips gave different pressures. Ryobi, and Green Works only got to 2700 psi. Wonder what this one actually gets to.
My wife but a bird feeder on our front porch so the cats would have something to stare at. As you can guess, it's now been located to the yard, and I'm left with a mess. Hopefully, this will be a cheap handy tool for small cleanups.
1.2gpm is the key number, that is low level power. For serious cleaning look for a minimum of 1.8gpm or greater. The psi is often used to mislead consumers, much like the MPH rating for leaf blowers.
I'm not saying this is as good as a Kranzle so everyone relax, but this *sounds* way more like a Kranzle than it does a Sunjoe or Ryobi with the motor whine. 🍻🍻🍻
Hey Brian, when you said it lasted about 1.5 years, how did you tell if a pressure washer is dead? What did you observe? Was it losing pressure to a point where you could visually tell or feel the differences?
@@apexdetail85 thank you, I have a Karchner 1800, it’s still going but I’d like to upgrade to something with a little more oomph. Have been eying up the active 2.0 but it’s $350+ …
Harbor freight only offers a 90 day warranty on this item so that alone makes it not worth your money to wear as other brands such as DeWalt Ryobi and others offer a one-year warranty, some even a three year warranty
Do you have a pressure washer at home? Which one?

SunJoe SPX3000. First one lasted 2 years.
I have two. Both Ryobis. A little 1800 psi electric and a 3000 psi Honda powered gas. Homeowner use only. I like them both very much.

Giraffe wall mounted works amazing

Another great video and review Brian always enjoy the content.

The tyre cleaning just sold me lol.
@mikea5205 yeah it makes it so quick

I like these pressure washers.. they definitely pay for themselves quickly 😁👍🏻

Can this be used to clean a cement driveway? Thanks.
It looks like the wand has arrows pointing left and right. This suggests some type of water adjustment. Is this the case?
What soap did you use in this video love how it foamed up
Can't wait for the day harbor freight starts making something along the lines of an active 2.0
what soap brand did you use--that has alot to do with how foam sticks etc.
At $249, better off going with the old Active VE52 for $225 and getting 1.9 to 2.0 gpm

Nice Brian👍 Sissy approved 🤗
I have the same one. Works perfect. Good video
Hello. What size pressure hose would I need. I’m this of replacing this one but not sure of the size hose correct?
I use a ryobi 2100 psi it’s great!
What’s usually the weak point on a pressure washer when it goes bad ,??, When you say you had your Greenworks for 1 1/2 yrs, what went wrong ,??
Thx 👏
The pump usually fails first.
What type of garden hose is needed to connect mine won’t connect to a 3/4 diameter hose
Nice

The pump has alway been the weak point for these power washers....they fail before all else.
Shop manager scolding someone in the background.
😂👍🐶
How long do you think this thing will last?
If my Greeworks lasted 18 months using it hard.....this can as well. If you use occasionally .....you have it for years.

Green works 2000psi
Looks to me like you aren’t even using the attachments that came with the machine.
Not a true review bcuz you're not using the sprayer handle and extender that came with it!?
AR electric pressure washer
Why TF would you ever hook up a hose that long!
Nothing but a water pick, only last year & half, garbage
First!!!!
