The trade of Monta was the greatest thing that could have happened to this franchise since "We Believe". No doubt he was a fan favorite, but that trade set us on the path to where we are now: the best team in the league with the best PG in the league. Let's be honest here. We were going nowhere with Monta.

Everything turned out for the best. The best thing Lacob did, the absolute best was hiring the best management team. The correct decisions made were actually a collaborative decision between him as the owner and guys like Myers and Jackson at that time and all his talent scouts. There were so many things that happened with the warriors that i bet none of us fans knew would have happened. Traded Monta for Bogut was unpopular, making Steph the starting PG, drafting Klay and Draymond, firing Jackson, getting rid of some of the early role players like Ezeli and Barnes, recently keeping the championship core when so many analysts have been insinuating breaking the championship team up, everything just fell into places. He is not lucky, he is just a brilliant owner who knows that popular decisions do not guarantee success. Recruiting KD was an exception though. Everybody from the bay loved it and knew it from day 1 that it will be a success and it did.

Truly an embarrassing moment, but it shows the passion these fans had. Being mediocre for 40 seasons. Having only like maybe 2 good teams during that time. Baron Davis, Stephen Jackson, and then monta Ellis all being gone. Legit nothing went right for them. Then trading away a future bright spot on the team for an injured center. They all probably wanted to throw themselves of a bridge. Give credit to lacob tho, made the hardest decisions and is now benefiting from it.

lol, this is why he is a 1%, he is filthy rich, and the same people booing him are coughing up 200 a ticket to pay his 50ft yacht off the coast on a island he owns. like the saying goes "the individual is smart and reasonable, but the people, mass, crowd together are dumb"............ where do I sign up to be a 1%??????

did you know if you make over 30,000 dollars, you are in the top 1% of the world? be grateful for what you have, and don't be jealous of those who took the right directions and worked hard towards imminent and abundant prosperity.
