I think he is still having culture and family shock. He definitely needs to be in a busier area so that he can get acclimated and meet other people that are not just her family otherwise he will not last long in that marriage. He needs a little independence and time to adjust.
This guy won't last long. Bless her,she most definitely should have listened to her parents and married a Greek boy who better would have understood what Mediterranean families really mean !!!
I don't think this guy quite knew what he git himself into....Greek and Italian families all stick together. The children listen to the parents...they know best!!!! I'm surprised that mkmma agreed and went to the two bedroom apt!! Momma loves that boy. Interesting.....🤭🤭
life is about compromises and work through things together, their original families won’t last forever and her parents may die soon, look into the future, not stuck with them old farts
Exactly. Guys want to have the lead regarding building a family; they want the hero feel as if they bring everything to their princess. Here the opposite is happening: the girl wants a big apartment right away with the help of the family money. It means this guy feels completely humiliated and that he does not control anything. This is maybe he needs bars around; to forget about how bad choice.
Oh boy. It's hard to focus on the properties because there's so much tension between this couple. There's a huge cultural difference. I hope they're make it.
The husband was rather harsh. A one hour drive to work = (2X5) X 52weeks=520 hours of driving a year which is 21 days in a car. What kind of person who wants their wife to commute that far? At least he will be close to bars and restaurants!
Of course they’d want a Greek man. Much easier and won’t take the grandchildren. He can win them over with his charm (?). Write up a prenuptial agreement if those exist. They divorce and the place is hers since her family bought it.
The husband doesn't understand that economy in Europe and, sadly, in Greece especially is far from stable, unlike in Canada. In 5 or 10 years you might not be able to afford to buy a new apartment or a bigger space. The wife is a lit more level-headed by thinking long-term. Plus if the parents are putting in almost as much money as them, he should graciously accept their opinions. Otherwise, ask your own parents for money
The guy moved from Vancouver, BC to Greece! The wife was right to compromise...plus it's not forever it's for now. Besides that, these episodes are so scripted it's pathetic. They make married people look like they are at war against each other most of the time.
shes so pretty and seems very sweet and compromises a lot her parents look sweet too. this guy is a weirdo. first of all why does he have an accent? lmfao dude your a basic wyt guy from canada.... also the fridge not being next to the stove bothers him? and extra space bothers him? yikes. a total weirdo. i hope she finds someone better.
I'm sorry but I did not agree with that at all, at the end of the day, they are the ones that are going to be living in the house. if my min or my own mother faves us money but then to "control" what we do with it, I'll say no thanks!
@@brightestmoments101 they don’t have to have to have complete control but you should welcome the parents opinions because they are being so generous...
Keith is a stiff. He chose to marry a Greek woman and live in Greece and then has nothing nice to say about any of it. Even the fact that they speak Greek in Greece! He acts as though he was tricked into the whole situation. The two of them are on completely different wavelengths. It seems like the language barrier may be all that's holding them together because it's causing the wife (and her parents) to miss the nuances of hostility and passive aggressiveness coming from Keith.
HAHAHAHA, I can see my father now. Old Nick may he rest in peace. Had I ever felt inclined to drag someone like Keith home, first he would read me the riot act like only Greek dads can do, and if this didn't deter young Keith he would give him a special serving. I can see it all now and it I'm laughing out loud. 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Imagine complaining about the parents after they offered up an additional 100,000$. He is so contrary to his wife and keeps shutting her down. The amount of negative comments he makes is brutal, he's very manipulative. It's his way or no way. Yikes!
He has a really weird accent. It almost sounds Scandinavian but he’s from Vancouver. The other thing is what does he do for a living that he can just move to Greece and not speak a word of Greek and be financially able to buy a house? These people are getting weirder and weirder on this show.
When you marry a Greek woman you should learn some of the language. I am Italian and it's the same way. My parents are very involved in our life so you should be certain that's what you want. Her parents were so generous with their help. I didn't see his parents step up? He should be more understanding and grateful.
He comes across as a bit of a slack jawed pencil necked idiot. I noticed that they never said what he does, if anything. I would be thrilled to marry into a wonderful Greek family! Yes he should have learned some of her native language by now! Perhaps his parents are poor? Her father and mother are of course going to care where she is going to be living! She’s their daughter and they love her and want her to be happy. I don’t see this marriage lasting very long.
You must have missed the fact he's learning Greek, and her mom is learning English. The wife said her parents love her husband, so it seems there's no cause for concern.
I am from Vancouver. His appearance and speech say he is from a fairly well off family. He is well educated, with a good job, or he wouldn't have been able to live there.. In Vancouver, $100,000 is nothing. First, a couple would have to buy a one bedroom for at least $500,000, then would move up after 5 years to start a family.I expect the $ 150,000 came from his parents, or from selling his place in Vancouver.
Greek and Italian families are very similar. How amazing of her parents to gift them 100k for a place to live. The parents aren't deciding for them. The parents only told them that if they needed any advice to come to them. The Greek young lady is spunky and adorable with a positive attitude. You can tell that her family are such good people. He hit the jackpot. He's married to a family that will clearly support him no matter what. Be a little grateful
He's not a stick in the mud. He's being made to follow every choice the gf and her family makes. He doesn't seem to have much say. I'm sure they will divorce soon. They are clearly not a match.
He's incredibly selfish. I understand why she wants 3 br and why not? It's price range. Lot's of people live in the first home they bought, years later.
It didn't matter what she wanted only what he liked. True compromise is when both sides adjust their demands. What's really messed up is that she was understanding and sensitive to his culture but he wasn't to hers.
He treats her amazing family like a nuisance rather than an asset. In counties where is harder to get a mortgage and you are outright buying your property - it becomes much more difficult to just sell and buy a new house in 5-10 years. So many foreigners underestimate the cost of taxes and difficulty of buying a home in Europe. He clearly doesn't get it, and on top expects someone who wants to be a mom with a 2 hour daily commute. He has no vision, I really hope she's happy, bc she seems like a gem.
OMG, Where did Despina find this guy? There is no warmth or passion in him, it shows from miles away. He is very disrepectful to Despina, I feel bad for the parents, they love their daughter and will do anything for her, and even though they know this guys is a dead beat they will not say it. Guys I know because the same thing happened to me, only I grew up in Australia and he was an Aussie. So sad, Despina should tell him where to go and how to get there.
Just remember these shows cherry-pick their clips, he probably isn't nearly as bad as he seems. He is portrayed as so clueless here! Also, I don't feel moving frequently is something that all Canadians think of as in when we need a bigger house we would get one. Most of my extended family lives in the same house they bought before having kids. Some of the senior ones have downsized and all the grown kids seem to have moved for work but then stayed there.
you see 20 minutes of a show you cannot judge people on that it takes 2 people to make a relationship work the man is in a foreign country i think he deserves a bit of a break
@@grantnoroyan4083 Hi Grant, I believe with all my heart that this guy is after everything he can get from this poor girl and her parents. When he has all this, he'll be off like a randy little school boy, this is the way I see him. To me, he is definitely not a man by any means, I really don't know what she saw in him to be honest. Oh well, differing opinions make the world go around... I really wish they would have a follow up on them and see how things turned out, don't you? 👀
I am American from a conservative Dutch background. Culturally the Dutch are Very private about feelings and emotions. I married a Mediterranean man. We have been married 30 years, but at first it was hard. His family was so loud, there was so many of them, they all wanted to know your business, all the men cried very easily. It was shocking to me. This guy comes across as being a dud, but what it may be is just feeling completely overwhelmed with the newness of everything, the language barrier and trying to hang on to what seems normal and comfortable for him. He’s definitely feeling out of his comfort zone.
Ikr! Poor Keith. His wife needs to speak english, when he's around, or just leave him at home till she and her parents find their house. I mean, she and Keith find their house 😉
Yea Keith needs to be more understanding and grateful that the parents are donating 100,000 to help out. So the parents do have a right to their opinion.
Why would someone even show you a house that is a one-hour commute from your job? And why would you buy it? She's spending half her day commuting while he is hanging around bars all day?
@@lzrd8460 I would be surprised if they’re still together based on his behaviour in this program. He doesn’t strike me as the type of person who would do housework and cooking either. He’s the guy who sits on the sofa watching hockey and yelling for her to grab him another beer... 🍺
Now reality sets in.... one wise old couple told me, "marry in your own culture because marriage is hard enough." I'm beginning to think, how true...... and he who has the pockets has the power.
i feel just the opposite the girl seems selfish, and her bragging my family won't like like, not even remembering that he is the one gonna live with her, not them.
@@husnazakariyya6656. You’re right, because he came across the world to stay where she wanted to stay. And she’s more concerned about what her parents say, instead of what her husband says. She was more concerned about obeying and pleasing her parents. She and her husband supposed to be one, but she’s still one with her parents!! Not a way to build a marriage with the parents having such a major place in the marriage!! He badly wants his marriage to be the two of them, not the four of them. Next, they will definitely have a say when they have kids and how they’re raised!! He’s the adult, but she’s still be the daughter, not a wife!!
I think this marriage is doomed or should be. He doesn’t work, doesn’t care how long of commute she has and complains about her parents who are bankrolling them. He sounds petty and narcissistic. Yuk.
HER parents gave 100k but he still doesn’t look grateful. He must remember that whatever marriage, you don’t only marry the person; you marry the whole family and must adapt to the culture. The tension between them is palpable, even though the girl is trying her best to be upbeat. Girl! Run! He’s more interested in the bars! He’s not even thinking of how long her commute is. Her mom even is learning to speak English for crying out!
Maybe, if we try to take positive, he just wants to be able to take her to a bars/ restaurants together, enjoying drinking wine under the hot Greek sun and then walking home back together
I have many Greek friends. This is really the Greek culture 💯 😊 Gotta roll with it and set up your expectations upfront and yes whilst the Greeks do engage more with their parents it’s also due to making their opinions feel cherished. How kind also that her parents helped out. 😊
First of all...they give him so much money and he has that attitude? He shouldn't have married a Greek woman in the first place! ... Secondly, with... 250.000 , they could find a very nice apartment at a nice area, like psychiko, holargos or Marousi. There are ,bars, pubs , cafés and restaurants in every area of Athens. Not only in the city centre. These areas that the real estate ,showed to them ,are not nice and safe but expensive because of Airbnb and the tourists that don't know which areas are better .

Culture clashes like this one are a disaster waiting to happen. She has this sweet lovable vibe about her. As for him, he's been probably this uptight his whole life and not just bein a scared foreigner in a foreign country. All he's been worried about, though, is bars and restaurants. Wish he had been this worried about getting a job. He should be realistic about the effect of the money her parents offered. Sometimes the older generation tries to control their grown up kids with finances, but I don't think this is the case here. It's this big and loud and yet cute way of Greeks just being Greeks. He needs to learn from John Corbett how to get along with that.
John Corbett from Northern Exposure? I loved his character Chris in that series. One of the best television series ever made imho. Remember when he flipped the piano instead of a cow and his radio show Chris In The Morning? Brilliant guy.
I think that in order for Americans to understand what is at stake here , some things need to be explained here by a Greek person. First of all. 100.000 euros is an obscene amount of money. Both her parents would have had to put almost their entire life savings in that house. Second, when we buy or built a house, it will be the home for at least two or three or even four generations to come. It's very common for our children to inherit their house from their parents or grandparents. Our houses are made of concrete, not wood. That being said, it's completely ridiculous that they are supposed to pick a house out of three. It could take months or even years to find the right house to buy. Also he doesn't seem to understand what marrying a Greek person means and I find it really odd that she doesn't see that. What is really funny though is that he insists on living next to bars and restaurants.... lol he is about to live permanently in Athens and still thinks like a tourist. He is about to be strongly disappointed by the level and quality of nightlife in Athens off season. Also did anyone tell him that if he wants to go for a drink in a new, cool place , he doesn't have to live next to it? An 8 or 10 euro cab fair can take you anywhere you want. On the other hand, living near your work place is much more important. For reference, in today's Greece a good job will give an inexperienced 25year old maby 1000 or 1200 euros net monthly income tops. Gas prices is 1.70 euro per liter. You can end up paying 20% or 30% of your income in gas. Doesn't he know that? Overall he seems very uninformed and as a Greek person I blame HER for that.
When even after your parents helped both of you with the money yet your husband still talked behind their back - its time to get a divorce. Having this kind of human inside your house would emotionally tiring you.
Greeks love to entertain the mother seems sweet as well -she is trying so hard to please him I also had to learn Greek and Athens is such an interesting city with wonderful food I don't like his attitude- I see him as ungrateful and unappreciative
First of all, he did mention in the piece that he finished his level 1 Greek language studies. Secondly, they have $150,000 of their own money that he probably contributed to. Thirdly, it is understandable that he would expect his wife to respect his wishes and feelings before his parents, after all it's their marriage/life. Lastly everyone talks about respecting her cultural norms and only says negative things about his. What may seem warm and fuzzy to one person may feel invasive and controlling to another. He may have been better off marrying someone else or maybe if they all compromise they can make it work. It's always better not to borrow money from family because it usually causes problems.
I would go with the 3 bedrooms one. In 10 years I don't think they could afford to buy a house that big anymore. Housing prices keep increasing. Having more space will never be a problem. Not enough space is. Like is he even planning to go to bar everyday? Your wife will hv to travel far everyday to earn money...why would he even compare buying a house with buying a van? And the fact that her parents gave her 100k more to purchase a house 🤷🏻♀️
The producers manufacturer a lot of the imaginary conflict in this show - they tell them to want two different things so the show has to reconcile it. Maybe those things aren't too different from their existing personalities but they have to play them up for the show 🤷
My two cents, marriage is hard work. This couple has a few more hurdles to jump because of cultural differences. Neither of them is the bad guy. I hope they can get on the same page and find a healthy balance in the relationship to her family.
She is such a beautiful girl. Why would she want to be married to a "boy" who acts so NEGATIVE, selfish, and rude? Especially to her sweet parents. She deserves so much better.
I'm from a close knit family and my husband's family, although larger, are all excessively independent and go their own way. It was a big adjustment for both of us, but especially him. My family, all went to lunch almost every Sunday, just to see each other. He started turning up less and less. In the end we got counselling. He resented that his family wasn't like ours but still didn't want to spend his time with mine. He's a social introvert and we aren't and it exhausted him. I decided to go on my own and he came more frequently as he got older. We are very happy, have 2 kids and we're very close ourselves. Now that our kids are grown and left home, he understands why I and my family needed that contact. We loved each other and love being together, just like our family now!
I like your story and it’s actually a successful one. It’s about finding a companionship, a soulmate and that doesn’t mean that we have to mimic each other in everything. In fact, people of the same culture run into same problems, family rivalries to the point where the marriage suffers due to lack of freedom and meddling by both ends. Both families may jump to help with home buying, but that also turns into bloody mess if the couple goes through divorce. I know, I am from Croatia, it’s like that. So, I figured, if you find the true soulmate, no matter from what end of the world, all the little annoyances (like Sunday family lunches) are only of secondary importance.
@@solobano570 I agree. My best friend of 50 years is Italian. Her and her Italian husband's family were always having high drama. It was exhausting just to be an observer to it all. The key to success is compromise, talking and understanding. I didn't understand my husband's problem until the therapist pointed out that my family's exuberance exhausted him, although he loved it in me. And he didn't understand how lonely I felt without contact. Understanding and Compromise.
Last one - too close to the street? Worrying about security? I would worry about my kids falling from the previous higher apartments! She's too attached to her parents. I can see why he is so adamant about getting what is best - not what her parents want. I should have watched to the end! Her Mom was very sweet about compromising!
He seems very detached ( read super Cold ) and though he ( was ???) Critical of her parents , they are very sweet to offer thier savings to help them buy an apartment so they can start a family !!! I sense a lack of gratitude However this is a 21min show and its edited in a certain way to create tension and drama !!! All the best to them !!!
Why was he so bothered by the fridge? It does make sense, cause when u turn on the stove or the oven it heats also everything around it and if the fridge was too close to it, it can break down more quickly
Daughter: "Mom, Dad we can only get 1 bedroom." Parents: "Here's $100,000. Get 2." Me: Daaaaaaaamn. Wish I got it that. P.S. I LOVE that the friends & family don't speak English around him. Dude, learn the country's language!
Clearly you did not pay attention, he is learning, already has one term under his belt, spoke with the estate agent in greek even. And it is rude to speak in a language someone cannot understand if you speak their language.
I can't believe they're married! Thrice even! They chose a house that is close to Keith's bars and restos while it's the farthest from Despina's workplace. How is that a meeting in the middle?
Shes so cute and full of positivity. His posture when sitting at the table with her mom tells much about his attitude. But if her parents love him, there must be more. : )
For all those who have written he should learn the language he stated he passed his Greek level 1 lessons and even spoke a little Greek with the realtor. Canadians, being one myself, living overseas can tell you we are laid back people and just go with the flow.
I am watching this with the subtitles only as my husband is sleeping next to me in our 3 bedroomed home with vacant cottage. This guy needs to lighten up and change the house agent.
He is such a jerk! Dump him quick he doesn't want her parents around. Don't have Children with him...He keeps saying, all your cousins again??? Bars, bars, bars!! I feel sorry for the parents... They seem like great people. Now they have to deal with a LOSER!
Somebody should remind him that in BC it takes a long time to own property. I was 43 when I got approved for 1 bedroom condo in Burnaby BC. It took another 20 years for sis and myself to pool our money to purchase a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom condo. I don't see his parents adding money or him either. European families love their children and want the best for them. It's tradition and learn their tradition and stop moaning. Instead of bars get on a bike. I love her family.
If I was on this house hunt it would've ended in divorce; he clearly has zero regard for his wife or her family, constantly complaining that she discusses things with her parents and not giving a fat rats that she has to travel a long way to work. He needs to understand that in many European countries family is important and we value the opinions of our parents. Also, your in-laws are GIFTING you with 100,000 EUROS!!! How about being a little more grateful and respectful instead of just thinking about yourself. If he doesn't want to take other people into consideration he should either buy a house on his own, or give back the money her parents gave them.
@@sofedupofcrooks5126then he shouldn’t accept the money. It’ll cause tension in their family if they accept the money. I know the scenario.I’ve seen it personally. He doesn’t appear to appreciate anything she or her family has to offer.
I understand what you were trying to say. But the price is in dollars and not in euros!! There is a big difference. Their budget together with the money her parents gave is 250 thousand dollars. And not a euro😅
Maybe the hour drive each way is a blessing because it's an hour she's not dealing with his wants and demands since those seem to priority. (assuming it was actually his words and not scripted for him)
I guess another of many discussions a couple should have BEFORE marriage is living arrangements (i.e. house, apartment, condo), location, bedrooms. This couple may be headed for further future conflicts.
Relax people , it’s a real estate show , the “near bars and restaurants” is a line used at all house hunter episodes it’s definitely an HDTV thing! They actually make a cute couple ! Συγχαρητήρια και Καλορίζικο το διαμέρισμα !
I can definitly see the clash of the canadian and greek culture between them. As a canadian, i totally get his concerns and as in canada we had greek neighbors for more than 35 years... greek is all about family just like italian. I’m sure is scratching his head like am I really married to her or her family? There is a huge gap between them. But i can tell she loves him. I am asian and my husband is French Canadian. We came from two différents cultures but as we grow up in the same place, we have the same vision and share the same values. This housing hunt is not reassuring at all ...i really hope they can live happily for ever.
It's kinda funny how I am thinking completely opposite from the comment . I think the husband can be a bit of a downer however, I think he might have been getting a bit annoyed by the wife's constantly relying on her parent's opinion. It's good to have their input especially since they are paying close to 50%. At the same time they are making a big life decision for themselves not for the parents. It would be good to prioritize their needs as a couple first.
When you put 2 very different cultures together and try to work it out it will be quite challenging with the obstacles....I give his wife and mother in-law the respect for respecting the husband decision for his family.
I could so relate to this episode as I lived in Greece for 12 years, almost married a Greek! Those apartments were very typical of Athens, much better than any I lived in tho!
As a Greek i can see how with just watching these 20 minutes alone you might have a negative view on Keith but im gonna be honest he is the one who moved from Canada (itself a country much more stable) and left his family and friends to move to another country and have to adjust to a whole different culture for his wife. As much as people critic him that's not easy to do most definitely and i'm glad that Despine recognized and mentioned that at the end of the episode.
I understand him. I’m married to someone who’s family is like hers. It’s like his word does not matter and he feels left out and unimportant. It’s normal.
Wow. I'm surprised at all of the comments against the husband. No healthy marriage should include that much influence from parents, regardless of the culture. The wife should not be asking her parents and then telling her husband that they all think the couple should get a certain place as if his opinion doesn't count at all. The mom, however, saved the day. She's a gem.
All he cares about is his wants which is literally bars? He doesn't seem to care about the family they're planning or the fact that she literally has to commute do much? He's useless and inputs nothing. He should be grateful to her family but males fun of them?
She is so cheerful and considerate and he is the complete opposite!!!! Their priorities are so different ....

🤡 The kind of husband that left everything and everyone he knew to be with her in a country where she's happy
He was awful!!
stupidest comment on here. dude moved from Canada and gave up so much more than an hour commute, wow such a horror commuting one hour...
He's Canadian, as am I. A commute of an hour was nothing when I lived in Toronto. He's from Vancouver, where the same distance applies.
The husband doesn't understand that economy in Europe and, sadly, in Greece especially is far from stable, unlike in Canada. When your husband cares more about where the bars are than your commute to work, it's time to find a new husband.
The guy moved from Vancouver, BC to Greece! The wife was right to compromise...plus it's not forever it's for now. Besides that, these episodes are so scripted it's pathetic. They make married people look like they are at war against each other most of the time.

Her smiling and pleasing him all the time. Him, no smile, controling and negative. I hope she will find a nice Greek husband number 2 .
Never mind your commute, you will get used to it, as long as he is near the bars and restaurants. Wow! I really wish her well with that one.
I love her spirit, she’s family oriented , optimistic 🥰
He sounds like a typical and titled man. He moves to her country and start ordering her and her family to do what he wants. Total BS
Yes he's rude. Her parents are helping financially, I don't see his parents helping.
When in Canada, speak English or French. When in Greece, speak Greek. But he is learning the language, so that's a plus.
Imagine complaining about the parents after they offered up an additional 100,000$. He is so contrary to his wife and keeps shutting her down. The amount of negative comments he makes is brutal, he's very manipulative. It's his way or no way. Yikes!
exactly. what a pain in the neck. she should run away
Imagine thinking that a cheesy reality tv show is real. Yikes!
He has a really weird accent. It almost sounds Scandinavian but he’s from Vancouver. The other thing is what does he do for a living that he can just move to Greece and not speak a word of Greek and be financially able to buy a house? These people are getting weirder and weirder on this show.
@@geraldclark6241 it’s so weird! It’s like he’s trying to sound less Canadian purposely 😂
Horrible man I feel sorry for her future with him
When you marry a Greek woman you should learn some of the language.
I agree Greek families are awesome he should embrace it
I am from Vancouver.
There are also bars and restaurants, and long commutes in all parts of Vancouver.
Hard to feel supported when you feel stifled.
Her parents were amazing to give them 100k toward their new home ❤❤

I love her parents. They’re super sweet.
Such lovely parents and she is so full of life, he seems like a stick in the mud. I hope it ends well.
That couple isn't a match
He's not a stick in the mud. He's being made to follow every choice the gf and her family makes. He doesn't seem to have much say. I'm sure they will divorce soon. They are clearly not a match.
Actually I take it back. After watching further. He is a bit of an asshole complaining about the windows.
He's incredibly selfish. I understand why she wants 3 br and why not? It's price range. Lot's of people live in the first home they bought, years later.
Agreed
Love is blind, especially in the beginning. I hope she has come to her senses since this episode was filmed. This is not a marriage meant to last.
He's Canadian! What do you expect!
you see 20 minutes of a show you cannot judge people on that it takes 2 people to make a relationship work the man is in a foreign country i think he deserves a bit of a break

Also I really love how the agent laughs when he tries to speak greek. Not nice at all, agent 😡
Yea Keith needs to be more understanding and grateful that the parents are donating 100,000 to help out. So the parents do have a right to their opinion.
One of the failures.
Why would someone even show you a house that is a one-hour commute from your job? And why would you buy it? She's spending half her day commuting while he is hanging around bars all day?
🤡 Half her day? You know the day has 24 hours
I hope he plans on doing all the house work & having dinner on the table when she walks in after her one hour ride home!

Yuk.

His priority: Bars
Her priority: Family

I don't know what she saw in him.
Maybe, if we try to take positive, he just wants to be able to take her to a bars/ restaurants together, enjoying drinking wine under the hot Greek sun and then walking home back together
He made a face when she said she wanted to start a family. Also he said two bedrooms was enough because they don’t have kids yet was a red flag.
I hope so. She's an adult. He's a whiny little boy.

He is so negative. If he wanted to have the same life he did in Canada, he should have stayed there
the Wife is just as negative
I'm stressed listening to him and I'm not even married to him.
I have many Greek friends. This is really the Greek culture 💯 😊 Gotta roll with it and set up your expectations upfront and yes whilst the Greeks do engage more with their parents it’s also due to making their opinions feel cherished. How kind also that her parents helped out. 😊
Her mom and Dad are adorable.

@@sharong8511 yep, that's him, he is also strarring in big fat greek wedding, thus the reference...LOVE NE!!!

I don't like his attitude- I see him as ungrateful and unappreciative

His mentality is from long lines of wealthy people 🙌🏿
and her's is peasantville
When you put 2 very different cultures together and try to work it out it will be quite challenging with the obstacles....I give his wife and mother in-law the respect for respecting the husband decision for his family.
I see three divorces in their future 🤣
He does not look happy
and she whines
Why does he need to be near BARS and restaurants IF the goal is to have kids in near future? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
I could so relate to this episode as I lived in Greece for 12 years, almost married a Greek! Those apartments were very typical of Athens, much better than any I lived in tho!
good thing you left our country then
I love his attempts at using the Greek inflections in English. "Where's your daaaad?"
very self-centred guy there caring only for his needs... after a couple of years it would be suprising if they are still together...
So, can we all assume there will be a divorce in their future?
What does she see in him? I wonder if they're still together....
He doesn't deserve this family 😢
Keith needs to learn that parents drink at home after their kids go to sleep 🥴🤦🏾♀️
He said buy a smaller condo now and sell it 5 years later when they want to start a family. Is he buying a car?
Especially in a country in crisis ,where there are no jobs and opportunities
@@alkyoni9891 yah why move there? high taxes & healthcare sucks
Good choice. The apartment is perfect for them. The balcony and views is everything. Wishing them all the happiness.
dude should listen what his wife has to say a lil more
I understand him. I’m married to someone who’s family is like hers. It’s like his word does not matter and he feels left out and unimportant. It’s normal.
Exvept that is not the way any of them treat him at all ... but sure .
Does anyone have an update on this couple? I don't see this relationship lasting.
lol I wish … 🤣🤣🤣
