Yeah I've seen that before. Honestly the team balancing system kinda sucks so most of the time it's not that the newer players are bad, it's that they don't understand how to use assets (commander/observer) properly to push and defend. Like in this video, none of my kills would have happened if they dropped a simple smoke screen down the center road and honestly they could have easily taken objective that way.
@scenedogs3267 best way to learn sniping is to get a battle rifle as a rifleman and put a scope on it then just play as support. Saves a Marksman role and you won't get yelled at if you do bad😂. I'd recommend the MDR, G3, or FN FAL. they absolutely suck at CQB but are similar enough to Sniper Rifles to work with. Once you've got a loadout with that idea you can start exploring the map. Sniping is more about good angles than aim/weapon.
I've had a fair but of questions on this video about sniping in general so might do a video on it soon. I'll go over some basics and how to find angles/ chokepoints.
Facts I’m a new player! I’m only 4 days in and I get what the veterans are doing. Went from getting 10-13 kills to 30+ kills. Yes by spawn camping it’s pretty fucking dumb. But whatever I guess. I also learned about bunny hopping. Like uh is this cod? I can jump in site doing 360’s and for the most part you will kill at least one person maybe 2 or 3 or 4 😂 I thought this game would be more realistic but I forgot us gamers find a way to ruin everything. (Console player)
if your going for a marksman with a bolt-action rifle. jus a tip remove the bag you don't need that much ammo on that type of gun. bag just makes your character more revealing in position, and you dont need two throwable(nade) in a marksman class cuz you fighting in long distance or just camping the flanks. i hope you get my point
Yeah I personally prefer to have the extra equipment. Depending on the rifle I'm using I'll swap out different things for it. The ammo for me is just a comfort thing; after having a few matches where I've run out and can't get back to base easily I've started carrying more.
got my sub. ive never even tried sniping. ive enjoyed its coop gameplay rarely playing pvp. seeing the map flow seems easier as a sniper. theoretically.
Yeah sniping on PVP requires a lot of map knowledge. I'd say play some rounds as a rifleman with a DMR to explore a bit and see where angles of approach are and you can change your position from there.

You need to learn how to track them when they are in your sight and running towards the right or left. Kovaak's FPS trainer will teach you how to track them and get on target real quick.
actually there is. you can see the stats on the gun. its called the velocity. its just close to a irl gun i think. thats why ins. has a milsim on it but still a arcade type shooter. thats whybits fun to play it.
They actually do have bullet velocity and drop, but it only applies when shooting from very long ranges. If you try shooting from the insurgent cache to the gas station on hideout you’ll see what I mean.
Bro on console the focus button is on a bumper right next to the fire trigger so dont get whiney pc player. (Focus button is RB while fire buttion is RT)
Use better sensitivity then it's basically hacks, the default sensitivity not feeling like a real operator eh, i fixed it and my games are very easy even the shit hits the fan and i hustle and finess that shit

I find pvp to be a mood killer as the veteran players tend to camp spawns. I play on console and just bought this on pc only because of IMC mod

Console is so much more challenging, and the game itself is more challenging that other fps

The sniping is easy with more stiff controls, better senditivity drag means i can fire a pkm and a .50 cal standing like real life

Bullets don’t have speed in ins. just shoot to the part of body that you want to hit
