- The A-10 Warthog was added to War Thunder just over a year ago now, but one thing always stuck out... people don't use it too often as an actual dedicated ground attack aircraft as it was intended. Most bring it into Ground RB, which is fine, but where it really shines is in Air RB.
In today's video, I use the iconic A-10 to ground pound units in War Thunder Air RB. Enjoy.

FYI the A-10 has cannon CCIP, does wonders to get those fast ground kills so I highly recommend you bind the cannon CCIP activation key

I hate Missile Thunder, so it's a rare thing indeed for me to take out a jet. When I do, I ground pound in one of the F-84 variants. And even then, I get in, do a thing and run away. My favourite aircraft in game however is the Wyvern. Life has been made more difficult lately with the Il-8 spam. (I have it but I havnae crewed it.) But if the battle task is killing attackers, they are easy to find and easier to get above.

The A-10 is the bane of the F-4C lol.
Is there a setting you have to turn on to see if there are missiles locked on to you? Or at least when they try to lock on you? Mine doesn't work as it should. A-10 also. While it shows me which planes are facing my plane it does not show if they have locked on.
You think this is an amazing Ground Attacker, wait until you get the GunPods for head on attacks.

so the last 2,5 years before they were bombarded with the negative reviews.... there was a time where ground targets were even better.... thats when i got the whole US tech tree with the F89 B... aaaahhh good old times
