I rode this beast for 9 years but in 2022 we had to part ways due to its wear and tear, unfortunately, after selling this bike I shredded tears for giving it away - I felt as if I am losing my younger brother. Nothing will match the classic Pulsars with today's bikes. Well hard feelings apart it's time to move on to newer pulsars

Bajaj must change the looks of the pulsar, this bike looks the same as PULSAR 200 launched back in the year 2008-09. they just change the graphics and call it new.
It looks more like the now pulsar 150 twin disc. The 200 back then used to be an oil cooled engine with a now 220 exhaust with solid colour scheme & I guess 200 had a fatter rear tyre. (I'm not sure) we used to ride a lot on it. 😍

Greeting from Indonesia, I am a ns200 rider and have curiosity of Bajaj policy in model. Here in Indonesia as one of the biggest motorcycle market, demanding of model lifecycle. That is why motorcycle brand who enter Indonesia market have to make update / facelift in certain periode of time , like 5 years cycle. Within 5 years there is a minor facelift prior to major facelift in the end of 5 year cycle. But it is quiet different in term of Bajaj. Ns200 once stop production, after several years, making comeback with fi option, just the same with this pulsar 180 fi. There is no major facelift, no led headlanp, nor led turning light. Even KTM make a facelift. So my curiosity is, are there no media in India, eager to make an interview with Bajaj management, or designer (if there still designer working), about their strategy or policy in term of model lifecycle ?
Another disappointing launch from bajaj: 1. No led headlight nor even indicator light, why?? 2. Front/ rear tyre could be more wider. 100/80 and 130/70 is acceptable. Hey bajaj come-on, move with the flow.

Activa & jupiter brings atleast some minor changes every year. But pulsar 180 is the same since launch. This was my 2nd bike though , was great for that time.
Instead of launching P180 Naked, Bajaj should have launched RS160 with 19 PS of power. As RS200 now crossing 1.70L Onroad mark, an affordable fully faired RS160 seems to make more sense then this.
We need the removable kickstart in this Pulsar 180 model also, people living in the hilly cold places faces much self starting problem. We always stuck in the middle of the upwardly high hilly roads where we cannot push up the bike in order to start the engine. Kickstart lever is the Secondary Life Saviour for the hilly riders or the tour riders. Please add the removal kickstart lever in every Bajaj bike like the Pulsar 150 Neon and Pulsar NS 160 . If somebody don't like the kickstart lever then they can remove it also but in my opinion nobody will remove it becoz it is very necessary. If the removable kickstart is added in the Pulsar 150 twin disk, 180, 220F & with other every Bajaj bikes then their demand by people will also ultimately high. Hilly people & the people living in the cold places don't like to to ride the the kickstart less bikes becoz of self starting engine problem. Please, Dear, Sir Rajiv Bajaj please add the removal Kick-start Lever in every Bajaj bikes. I wanted to buy this very model but when I bought mine 150 of same design (200 SF design) but showroom said there's only 180 in 220 dome and and I had no option but to go for 150 (I don't regret my bike though) and this was launched in Jan 21....... I was like, "Really Bajaj????"
Halogen is better than LED, in rain and fog condition LED is total waste, LED only for cars, for bike its waste, i have rtr160 4v, i struggling alot in rain rain and fog condition bcz of LED.

Good question, the designing team is busy in making only graphics for this legend bike no updates from past 20 years.
