- In this episode of "If horses were people," Sarah and Sara tackle girthing up a horse, pawing, and horses that do...funky things to their water.
As much as we love our horses, some of their behavior is a little...weird. Imagine if your best friend or co-worker acted like that? That's exactly what we did, and we think you'll like what we came up with!

They forgot the part where you drop your voice 5 octivs and yell "quit" or "knock it off" to the pawing horse. Which in my barn works for about 10 minutes
my horse puffs out when I ride him so when I kick him he doesn't feel it

You have to show feed time in the stable. You know when you have a group of horses in the barn impatiently waiting for food. There's one kicking the stall. Another producing truly dirty looks with ears pinned at a neighbor. One usually bolts food as soon as its in their stall. The noise level goes sky high. It's hilarious.
I love the foot stomping part. My mare does that all the time and when I scold her she just looks at me like she did nothing wrong.
The funny thing is I know more than one horse that poops in their water.

Awesome!!! And let's not forget the part where she waves her leg around in the air when you're trying to wrap it...and steps on your foot and you yell and she looks at you like, "what's the problem?"...and she spooks because something that was there yesterday is NOT there today......

They only stomp silently like that in the beginning. They soon discover the favorable acoustic properties of kicking the doors, which magically makes their humans faster and better at delivering food or treats.
My horse never poops in her water lol XD but a dead squirrel was in her water...ya eww don't worry we cleaned it out lol

The belt. I used a joke about having to show a horse a girth strap extension in a story I wrote. The extension wasn't put on, just shown to the horse to get them to think it was and relax. I was in tears laughing so hard over the belt.

The "yes, yes I did 😏" about the water has been living rent free in my head for *years*
When ever I try to tighten the girth on the horse I ride he sucks his stomach in and it's really annoying and I can't really wait because my trainers are always yelling at me to hurry up so yay😑
