Ever since I heard of Scaramouche and the game started to piece together his backstory I've been waiting for a confrontation with him and Ei! Hopefully we get it in the upcoming updates because there is no other character I empathize and want to know more of than him. Amazing art!
His backstory was something like he was suppose to be gotten rid of but Ei decided to let him off with eternal slumber and sealed his powers? Hope it’s not smth Scaramouche feels a grudge against 😔
@@nameless1767 Unfortunately, it's most likely what he's got a grudge for. Ei abandoned him not long after his creation. All he does honestly feel like he's trying to prove that he's better than her or wants her acknowledgment.
Scara has so much potential!, Hopefully he gets a better redemption arc than the crap we got with Ei. I hope cause his backstory is actually pretty sad, and horrifying.
@@Daphanewithpain Tbf with an all-female roster such as Honkai, it should be near impossible to write bad female characters, as that would imply bad writing as a whole. Still, I am inclined to disagree with their statement. Most of Genshin's female cast is good enough imo, it's just some of the Inazuman ones that sucked, but then again Inazuma writing was sucky as a whole.
I believe that Scaramouche is just a ticking time bomb at this point. Each time he encounters something even remotely triggering, that ticking gets faster, and faster, and faster, until there is no more time left to tick away. He may have been created like a robotic force, but he was bestowed with a sense of emotion according to his lore. I’m almost certain his mental stability was very weak to begin with. Every big or little thing to that fragility. Each time we meet him it’s like standing on ice in the middle of the vast ocean as it all slowly cracks around you. He’s going to crack very soon, I really hope they don’t screw him over like they did Signora. He has so much potential but with that potential comes a boats load of pain and danger.

So basically Ei created him, he's a Puppet he became as a bi product of creating the Shogun Basically Ei thought Scara was to weak to carry the Gnosis (Which was why he was created in the first place) basically she thought he was to emotional, she abandoned him but in Ei's eyes she set him "free" Yae Miko never liked him either in fact she said she would have disposed of him herself without Ei knowing Anyway then Scara became friends with one of the ancestors of Kazuhas descendents that friend saw him as an abomination and well let a just say it didn't end well After that Scara met a child who we guess was sick, that Child died and that was the final straw for Scara after that he joined the Fatui and he basically wants to remove every single human emotion and he stole Ei's gnosis which is where 3.2 comes in where he succeeded in becoming a God basically and yeah that's pretty much it, now we have to wait for his redemption arc in 3.2 to 3.3 lol
Just saying…trans Scaramouche hc? I love it, it is now mine. It also makes sense of the theory that he was the first attempt at a clone/puppet for Ei, but she discarded him along with the others.
