I’m an FTX creditor, fortunately I only had 0.1 BTC. I’ve been told I’m getting cash (valued at c $18k = 1BTC)
Speed and finality do not matter if the chain constantly goes down and is overly centralized. Might be good for price to go up but will only help the big VC insiders. You have nobody to blame but yourself when Solana fails.
First, don't know where you got that from, it hasn't gone done for a long time now since the bug in march/april got patched, and technically it wasn't even down, it was congested (which I agree wasn't ideal).
Second, it is not overly centralized, it is as decentralized as cardano in validator nodes and as decentralized as Bitcoin in token distribution, plus all of the validators and wallets are public, so this is simply not true in the slightest.
Third, both Ethereum and Bitcoin have more VCs invested in them than Solana has since the FTX estate was auctioned off, in fact Pantera Capital for example has been invested in Bitcoin since as early as 2013.
So, instead of rehashing the same old debunked falsehoods over and over, I suggest instead pulling your capital out of the dead bags you're holding, which probably won't survive the next bear market, and make the switch while you still can, because once the bulls start moving again you will be left missing the train, especially once Firedancer fully launches on the mainnet.
But do what you want...

@shawn47240 February is still pretty recent. Also the 70% plus transactions that fail, most of the volume is bots and a handful of wallets wash trading to inflate numbers to make it look good. The only thing Solana is used for is a meme casino. Name some serious projects that are solving real world problems.
