    Great review. Enjoyed the install video as well. Getting mine done starting this weekend. Couldn’t use your installer. I’m closer to the east coast but getting my Yamaha done and glad that I had a good testimonial from you.
    Keep up the videos. Enjoy them tremendously! Thank you!

    Couldn't agree with this more. It's a great addition to protect your hull not only from beaching but from anything else that might hit it while you're cruising. I really enjoy the slip. It's fun but not overly slippery. Before my ski would catch and slip according to how hard I was leaning on it. Now it basically slides an even amount that's easy to feel and maintain. Basically against rid of the ski throwing you over the high side. Lots of fun. Don't hesitate. Lots of good guys that do this treatment that don't take advantage. Safe boating.

    Awesome vid, I had Gator Glide done and love it on my 21 GP1800R. Not only does it protect the bottom of the ski, but getting it off and on the trailer is also easier.
    I ride the Little Manatee river every once in a while. Where did you launch from?

      That’s awesome bro! So happy I got it done. I launched from Wildcat boat ramp

    Change the ride plate, the 2021 ride plate sucks, You will totally love how it will handle after the ride plate. Personally, I think a riva ride plate and stock sponsons is the way to go. The riva sponsons make the ski too agressive for casual riding, but they are great if you want to turn like it's on rails.

    Wish you would have tried a few hard drifts or 180's to see how it handled but good info!

      I wanted to so bad but water levels were really low and I had not ridden there before. I did rip it on the gulf and it rides really nice. Prob gonna upgrade my ride plate and perhaps sponsons.

    The sponson, you will be like, I should have gotten this first and on every ski. I have it on the most aggressive and loves it.

    Hi Obi,
    I’m course to your gladiator. Does it have a lift kit and what size rims and tires….. also I just bought 2024 Yamaha FX SVHO CRUISER BEST SKI EVER

      @ObiSkiTV  8 месяцев назад

      Appreciate it, the gladiator isn’t actually lifted YET lol. I have 17” rims and 33’ tires. After the lift may go 35 or 37, not sure yet. And congrats on the wave runner!! It’s a BEAST!!!!!!

    I have a few scratches on the very bottom of my 23 GP1800 HO. I was thinking of super slicking it myself but was going to slick only the very bottom of it. It looks like yours has almost all of the hull done. I wonder if this would help to keep the sharp handling traits of the ski. Thoughts?

    • @ObiSkiTV
      @ObiSkiTV  8 месяцев назад

      My thought is to apply it to the part I had mine. You don’t want half the hull surface different than the other. That may affect your ride more! Also adding the aftermarket sponsons will prob get it handling even better than a stock hull from what I can tell.

    How would you repair a damaged slick 2000?

    • @ObiSkiTV
      @ObiSkiTV  3 месяца назад

      You would have it reapplied.
