This band was and is the best ever...todays music just doesn't have that great sound that the cult has always had..love this band.

Always suprises me how different Ian’s mild mannered spoken voice is compared to his powerful vocal style.

I attended that show that Ian was talking about where he got arrested in Vancouver. Guns and Roses opened for the Cult and all Axel Rose did was trip over the microphone stand and slam Canadian Beer. Quite the scene on stage after the Cult's last song.

Hey do the crime do the time. It's a Brit pop rock band I love but they HAVE a Manager who Probably arranged it.

It's amazing how much more serious Ian sounds compared to interviews from 1987 - or was he off his chops back then? ;)

The 1984 Idol episode was my first night ever seeing the show and Billy blew me away. He was so sly and so funny. He was so so beautiful to look at as well. Was he pissed at one point ?

A friend gave me an old CREEM Doors special edition magazine and lo and behold there's a photo of Jim Morrison wearing the exact same hat. I guess the 'Wolf Child' was taking his Morrison fixation even further at this time.

The man bulk of the Cult's audience knows good music when they hear it! Metallica, Guns and Roses, Led Zeppelin, Generation X, They dig the blues. I swear every blues-based rock and roll band is great!

Sad comment about American Midwest being not cosmopolitan. He didn't look too hard like well the Beach Boys did. All the Arts and Brainpower derives from Midwest. Oh well he's just now to me a Vocalist on a Euro pass Youth Hostel Adventure without a tie. Brits had their run. Junior Varsity Intellectuals Brits learning Guitar. I personally am near Jimi Hendrix grave now 40 years came from what you call too conservative. No idea.

If Sonic Temple is a marriage of the Love and Electric albums then it's an artistic failure.
