What a great looking bike! I recently discovered Trek’s FX series when I bought a 2016 7.2FX and wish I’d got one sooner. Mine’s totally standard and a very comfortable all rounder, a bit like how mountain bikes used to be before they got so big and heavy with suspension that’s over the top for most of us. Cheers.
I bought one three years ago. Fx3. 700 bucks. Kept it stock. All across Chicago. but I recently put a front rack on it. Got a decent brooks saddle. Some brake and front lights. Looking at changing the peddles. It looks so clean
Very nice. I'm thinking I need an ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning my cassette. There is always stuff stuck in the hard to reach places. grrrr. Or I need a local bike person to do this stuff for me. I have L.B.S.A. (local bike shop anxiety). 🙃
I use mine every day. If you are just going to use it on smaller parts like chains and cassettes, you can get the smaller unit. I have the 15l because I need to put crankets in there.
i have the trek fx2 (slightly less expensive version of fx3) and it’s always had the worst cable rattle. you got any tips on how to make it more quiet?
In other videos, I have tried Adam's and Meguiar's ceramic coatings, and the Lithium Ceramic Slam seems to have the best results on bike frames and parts.

These are awesome all-around bikes and cover most kinds of riding.
Digging these hybrid bikes for urban rides. Put a couple racks and lights and this thing is utility all the way!

Zip ties and maybe some cut out foam.
What kind of cleaner do you use in your ultrasonic cleaner?
I dilute 1 part cleaner with 6-7 parts of water. Simple Green 13005CT Industrial Cleaner and Degreaser: amzn.to/48eftT7
@@IKnowAGuyBicycles thanks
I have clipless pedals and Garmin Varia front and back. My accesssories are worth more than the bike. 😅
Amazing
Why do you use that ceramic brand?
