GP is so hard to work in Blender in my experience! This 2D Digital Animation tutorial series is _really_ fascinating! Provides so much insight into the resources available (provide one has the dedication to watch everything😸). Thank you for sharing.
For anyone who gets the error: "Cannot find valid keyframes to interpolate (Breakdowns keyframes are not allowed)" Just put your timeline playthrough thingy(the one that shows which frame you are currently at) somwhere in between the start and endframe at the chin animation part
A few questions: 1. For my GP models, I admittedly filled in the strokes by using the "Fill" option in the stroke options rather than the paint bucket tool. What should I do? 2. What do we do if our character has sleeves for the eventual rigging part of the process? Should we put the sleeves and hands in different layers and create separate bones to pair them up?
1. For the eyes you can just duplicate layer and assign a fill material to one and a stroke material to the other. Be ware that the arms use a single stroke and not a fill and controur, that would make riggin the arms a bit more comlicated. 2. The rig won't have hand bones, imitating the Peppa Pig style, you may use separate layers or just use weight painting (check my older rigging tutorials)
my interpolation has the eye lashes becoming the eye outline and the eye outline becoming the eyelash. why? why whenever i follow blender tutorials it doesn't just do the same thing that happens in the tutorial? why?!
All cool but, think I'll stick to Moho for 2D work. Especially with their release of 14.0. Use the correct tool for your work. I guess it's cool to see people try to use a 3D package for 2D work because it's free but, c'mon lol. 😂😂😂 Blender ain't the be all end all guys. 😂
Moho is more powerful when it comes to rigging but Grease Pencil has its strong points too (frame per frame, modifiers, etc). GP 3.0 will be even more powerful with the addition of geo nodes and many other features

Es una lástima que estos videos tengan tan pocas visitas. Están muy bien. Muchas gracias
De acuerdo. Creo que este video es el mejor sobre el tema.

for some reason when i click L to select a whole thing it doesn't work if I have multiple items selected
in Blender 4.X it's Ctrl+L

Try to play with the 'Flip mode' setting in the last operation menu, it might help. If not just try again.
@@MumuMundo thank you for responding I never thought you would.

@@MumuMundo Frame by frame has made leaps and bounds in 14. May want to revisit now.
