  • In this video I have 3 days off of work and we decided to get some work done around the house. We cut 10-15 cords of firewood peeled our logs for our new Timber Log Home. We also give you a walk around Owens new pickup and install the motor in it

    I enjoy watching your videos very much because it is the real deal. So don't worry about what someone else thinks. Because you and your family have made your minds up on what you want can't wait to see the end. Again keep up the great work and keep the videos coming

    If you had a sawmill with a ringdebarker close by they could debark those logs in about half an hour you and your family sure are hard workers

    The work ethic you and your wife has taught those young men is awesome. The balance of work and play, that is the key. I hope we get to watch the house build, however long it takes. I will be watching. I ❤ this channel. The humidity is kickin in NC too.

    First of all I love this channel. Second, congratulations to your son for buying some land. Glad you’re all close. No debt is the way to go, especially in this economy and administration. Your garage/ living space is nice, warm and dry, very doable. Your entire family rocks!!

    Amazing hardworking family. I agree with doing things without going into debt. Do whats best for your family. The beetles have been killing the trees in Cali too. So heartbreaking to see all the dead trees. Love how your family is so close knit and helps each other. What a blessing to see.

    Awesome video buddy!! Ya the way the price of things for building materials going up so much over the past couple years has definitely hurt a lot of people or put a damper on building stuff!! I definitely can tell you that I’ve been wanting to build a storage loft in the back of my pole barn and it is going to be 12’ or 14’ by 80’ and with 2x10 being around 30.00 to 40.00$ each I can tell you that I won’t be spending that on them so my loft will definitely have to weight for prices to drop hopefully!! Well remember keep up all the hard work buddy!!!!

I’m like well if u want to see it tested send me it. Anyways wish you folks good health and happiness ✊🏽

    That’s a great idea for the acreage!! If you’re looking for a way to clean those logs up to give them a nice peeled look, check out a makita curved planer, it gives it the draw knife look but is much easier in my opinion

    Out of curiosity, what does acreage up there (wherever in Ak there is) cost

    • @diyalaskanlifestyle
      @diyalaskanlifestyle  Год назад

      Glad you like the channel. A normal 1 acre lot is going for 20-25k these bigger lots are cheaper per acre. Nicer lots like river front can be more like 75k
