Ahhh man I love Jim's reviews. He's always interesting, engaging, gives insights into the car and driving experience in a way that's easy to digest but not overly simple and flat. By the time you've finished watching a video, you feel like you've sat in the passenger seat for a quick test drive.
the objective of the Corolla is just the same with what u have at home. your oven, your fridge your washing machine only different this Corolla comes with double wishbone. Its works and do what u expect it to daily with less fuss less problems
I test driven s70, mazda3, civic, before decided on altis. For me the handling n comfort, beats the others..its not for built speed. Interior is quite dull. Anyway its anyone perogative, your money your way. Nice review!!
i drive a city and i testdrove the altis , it really makes me wanna get one the feeling of steering, gear knob, brakes, makes me ignore of this car is low on power
if toyota bring in the corolla hatch...that can sell well with the younger buyers and lose the uncle's image of these sedan.....the sedan corolla looks too damn uncle ...GR sports looks like an uncle's trying to buang tebiat...dump the sedan & bring the hatch instead!
For me, I can't get past the Perodua feel from the interior. It's a completely different design and materials, but somehow it felt a little Perodua inside, that turned me off completely. The old lethargic engine just complete the Corolla as "forgettable" car.
Forgettable. 1)The GR sport badge doesn't give extra 1hp for it 2)2zr-fe is old 3) has Toyota fixed the clock sync between the head unit's and the instrument cluster's
segment c but performance... Honda city much better than this walaupun city tu segment B, also feature, interior & Engine outdated not fit at all in segment C lineup
@@anandsamy5194 honestly i agree with that if vios vs city, rn im compared about segment C issues for Corrola, it has only 138hp meanwhile City segment b was 121hp, i mean a bit low for Corrola to stay on C segment look how much civic fe hp, around 184hp, s70 also around 150hp
@ i guess the hp is not important for a comfortable family car with low fuel consumption, and its reliable than honda. I own the previous gen and it drives acceptable speed in highways.
if 120k can get this GRS i will definitely go for it, but 150k get this hmm
✅️ 150 PS : 226 Nm torque
✅️ Full ADAS
✅️ Sunroof
✅️ 500L boot
✅️ 18" rims
✅️ 12.3" entertainment screen
✅️ continuous rear light bar
✅️ Remote start with key and apps
✅️ RM95k
Im happy with my S70 purchase..
✅Dual clutch DSG
Dual clutch🤤

this car is one of the best seller sedan in Singapore. I think the price is too high in Malaysia, thats why sales here is very slow.
I think malaysia have so many option and corolla price tag to high.
actuallly in Sg we have just as many options if not more but maybe we are comfortable with what we know tried and tested@@muhdasyraf1315
Sell at the same price as S70 and S70 still wins
For 137k there are so many other options
@@only1cookiemonster change the S70 badge back to original let see whether the price still remained low
The pricing is the problem😅

2 problems with this car in msia. 1.underpowered 2.interior looks dull

"uncle buang tebiat..." This is why I pay for internet.
7:26 its better if roofline color for GR Toyota give black..
which is the best color for you(Black, red, metal)
Red color anytime
What happen to Minister of Formula promise to bring down car price😅😅😅😅

That will happen. Perodua has Toyota DNA.
problem is corolla cross wirh same engine and same platform cheaper than this. Now even mazda3 more than this on road.
The platform is not the same. Yes both are TNGA but Cross is just torsion beam whereas this Sedan is Double Wishbone. It handles differently
150k with that old engine? that itself will be hard to sell
Forgettable.

I love this car a lot, but it's priced wrongly.
Toyota the best
1. Underpowered.
2. No Hybrid
Toyota is selling old stock by better stock
High Pricing for a 2014 spec is toyota being cheapskate
its a good cat but the engine ...
Too expensive for 1.8...
segment c but performance... Honda city much better than this walaupun city tu segment B, also feature, interior & Engine outdated not fit at all in segment C lineup

The interior design is not valued at all . I would prefer Mazda 3 or Honda Civic .
Thick accent does not equal mechanical and automotive knowledge or experience. Chill je abang terpaling s70 okay.
