    This is the best review ive come across so far. Im still thinking if i want the 350 or 450

    • @Appmyhome
      @Appmyhome  4 дня назад +1

      thank you. we didn’t review the 450 but it does have much better specs. of course it’s price is much higher. the 350 as we noted did the job for what we cared about.

    Thank you for review. On your video I can hear how noisy this projector is. I hope there are silent projectors on market.

    • @Appmyhome
      @Appmyhome  7 месяцев назад

      Sound will likely depend on where you place the projector. We used ours outside and I don't recall it being an issue at our ears:) Now the mic we used might hear better...

    you should try the aaxa p6x projector for your outdoor setup. only $360 for 4-hour battery and a much brighter image. thanks for sharing!

    Do I have the option to move the screen to fit the wall or do I have to physically put the device in the right spot?

    • @Appmyhome
      @Appmyhome  3 месяца назад

      The screen and the projector are separate devices. So you can mount the screen wherever it fits, or if using a wall with the right color paint, no screen may be needed. the projector only needs to point to the screen and can be placed wherever you like as long as it projects to the screen obviously. there is some auto adjustment in case the projector isn't fully square with the screen.

    • @visionofgrey
      @visionofgrey 3 месяца назад

      @@Appmyhome thank you for your reply and advice. It’s my first projector ever so I’m sorry for the confusion. I do have a pull down projector. What I mean is there are projectors that you can move the screen to fit with the pull down screen. I got a gaming projector (Yabor V10) buts huge and bulky. I lay it on the top of my bed’s back board so for that one I have to physically move it so it can show straight on the pull down screen. It gives me OCD lol. This projector however has the option in the Zoom to rearrange the digital projected window. Even with Keystone I can’t get it straight for the life of me.

    • @Appmyhome

      the keystone on this one is pretty good. it is small too.

    • @visionofgrey
      @visionofgrey 3 месяца назад

      @@Appmyhome through a lot of research I found it is the auto keystone and auto alignment/focus option which this product and many do not have. The Nebula 3 has it so I went with that although a bit more pricy. You can basically place it anywhere in the room and it will auto adjust for you. Originally that’s what I wanted as the primary spec from projectors.

    hey hey, say if i wanted to use this for powerpoint presentations ,without a screen, directly on a house wall , during daytime , moderate to little sunlight in the room , would this still perform with its 150 ansi lumen brightness?

    • @Appmyhome

      likely would be ok depending how you define moderate. we did play a bit showing on walls.

      Hi Carlos, yes it has a fan and it is not too noisy. That said, we haven't tried it in a quiet bedroom. Outside like we show you don't notice the fan.

    auto keystone may be a close new 3rd priority when choosing. something to add to the chapters in your future projector videos is the brightness when hooked to power and when portable. having my first portable projector, I noticed a significant difference between both states.
    btw, what non-tech hobbies do you guys do? You guys don't look obese but you guys got huge fingers!

      200.00 on Walmart,it doesn't work with Android at all, and ya can't watch movies off a thumb drive that you downloaded cause it doesn't allow you to do so . Buy a wemax go it's better and it's a laser projector

    • @Appmyhome
      @Appmyhome  Год назад

      We only tested with an iPhone, since the Luma is Android based I'm surprised that you think it doesn't support Android. Did you test MiraCast with the Luma? There is a Kodak Luma app in the Google Play store, did it not work?

    • @Appmyhome
      @Appmyhome  Год назад +2

      the 350 is what we used outdoors, though you can’t leave it outdoors, ie not weather proof. as we mentioned it’s pretty nice for outdoor movie night. we’ve been looking at the 450 which has even better specs though a bit more.

    Wemax go laser projector is soooooooo much better than this POS, this thing won't let you watch downloaded movies from a thumb drive, however the wemax go will , and it's a laser projector,this thing is just a led lense

    • @Appmyhome

      Hi Bear, have you had a chance to try the Luma? It does well with Netflix natively for example. We haven't had a chance to test the Wemax Go, it looks nice, though reading their product page it didn't seem to be able to play Netflix natively, only via casting, do you know if that is true? I see it supports 1080p input, does it also support 4k input like the Luma? And do you know what the output resolution is?
