- Original piano arrangement of the Interstellar Main Theme, mainly inspired by the tracks "S.T.A.Y" and "First Step" (the OST includes several different arrangements of the main theme) composed by Hans Zimmer.
I'll be honest, I haven't got the opportunity to see Interstellar yet. But I was completely blown away by the soundtrack! How Hans Zimmer manage to create such an atmospheric melody is just amazing!
What I'm most impressed by though, is the arrangements. He arrange the melody so it perfectly (as it seem) suits the movie and it's style. I really enjoyed creating this arrangement, due to it's uniqueness.

People that haven't watched the movie have no idea why everyone is so emotional. From a musical point of view, this piece isn't as epic or punch packed as some other scores. But after watching the movie, you view this piece differently: as an emotional reminder of the continuation of humanity and sacrifice.
This music makes me feel emotional and I haven't watched the movie tho I know need to 🤗

What you did there was phenomenal. It made me want to go back in time and watch the whole movie all over again in the theaters.
I once asked you how to play piano really good and you replied with the usual 'practice makes better'. But hearing it from you made me think 'if even a professional like Akmigone says this aswell then it must be true' so from that day i have been constantly practicing and have deffinitly improved. I actually just watched the martian and I expected something at least half decent as interstellar. What I received in return felt like an average tv space movie. The visual effects weren't close as powerful as in interstellar, the plot was dragged, the dramatic scenes were predictable (if dramatic at all), the actors mediocre, the climax was... just bad.
And don't get me fucking started on the music scores cause this video is a testament to how breathtakingly amazing the interstellar music scores are, whereas in the martian we get '80 disco music.
People say it is in trend to be a Christopher Nolan fan, but to me it seems that the trend is to be a hater.

Who ever gave the thumbs down is stupid to dislike such a masterpiece written by such and astounding composer. Your music is inspiring and i touches my heart... I've been playing piano for a little I've a year now and I wanna start a channel soon. I play A River Flows in You and many others, just not to the finesse and that you display every time you touch the keyboard. Hopefully one day I will be as good as you *fingers crossed*... When I heard these songs in each emotional and breathtaking moment in Interstellar, while watching it in theaters last week, it gave me the goosebumps filled to the brim with shocks. It's like I'm with the crew, feeling the intensity of each action they take even if it's life or death situations.
The movie seem to be incredible! Hans Zimmer always manage to capture the right feeling of the movies he compose for.
