Just because diamonds spawn more doesn't make the game easier. You need to dig lower and defeat alot more mobs which would be very difficult. Also grimstone is harder to mine making it hard to strip mine(also can't be insta-mined)

Tip: Grabs the gems in the purple things. Not the block. Use it so you can make telescope aka zoom in but no optifine. And if you find it, use powder snow in the nether. It doesn't dissolve like water in the nether.

Here's a tip; if you wanna use Fullbright so it's not dark, go into options.txt in the .minecraft folder, and make the Gamma setting 100.0

I would suggest doing a I survived 100 days in Minecraft 1.17 hardcore. It would be cool as you could use the new blocks to build some structures!
