Saul was supposed to wait on Samuel before he went off in to battle, but he just went off and it didn’t go well for him.
Judges 7
Gideon was faithful before he went off in the battle
We can be willful in our passivity too
2 Samuel 1
David was supposed to go for a war, he stuck behind and it didn’t go well for him.
Success is faithfulness to all that God has given to us.
