I do the laundry for everyone in my home as well. As a government employee, I have Fridays off from work and that is the day to myself and to do the laundry without anyone in my way;) I have time frame to complete it...yes the others can do it but they forget clothes in the dryer or washer, leave lost garments around, ask about the cycle and how much detergent....and well, I prefer doing it anyway. That said, making beds, they each do their own, that is my least favorite chore even though I want it completed each day. I love your peaceful channel.

I don't eat sweets, I don't like candles or scented products, and she knows how I feel about gift cards and anything else that's a waste of plastic. I know I'll sound ungrateful to some but it's really the opposite because I'm grateful for what I already have.
Yes! They absolutely understand! They even had the flowers sent to me without a vase - because they know I already have one that I can use! Super thoughtful ❤️
I feel like minimalism allows a person to really strip away all the excess - in all parts of life- to reveal the true person. I have gray hairs, and I’m not ashamed of them! No hiding! ❤️
It’s from the company Gather Round Homeschool. They have a huge variety of topics. This year alone we have studied Asia and North America, Oceans, Human Body and also a mini Christmas lesson. We use these unit studies as a spine to add on various other bits of curriculum ❤️
I totally understand your feelings towards laundry; I wish I'd still have children at home. The sound of birds and nature in the morning are amazing, you live in a beautiful place. Thank you for the pleasant week!
Your chili made me hungry. :-) It's also a "go to" meal at our house. In summer we will have it nachos-style over chips and some toppings, and as chili dogs as well. Do you do meal planning?
I have the same dishes here in Australia. We lived in New Zealand when my kids were young and homeschooling them were some of the happiest days of my life. We always had a ton of library books too. I love your videos.
Your kids are going to be so much better prepared for real life! I sure wish other schools would teach kids a lot more practical life skills. Or at least introduce them. And well for me I would also say more psychology and how to navigate the pitfalls and the jungle of other human beings (at age appropriate levels lol). All the things I wish someone would’ve taught me. But at least we can still learn. You’re doing a banging job raising good kids Imo!! Lol. With the bug issues, seems like about all I’m doing lately IS laundry. It’s clearing up tho so I DO feel a lot better now. This too shall pass. (For the last ever loving time lol). Don’t mean to brag…but someone like me is these bugs worst nightmare. Ugh. The audacity! Get out of my HOUSE you nasty vermin!!! Lol. We also had a cold snap way down here. But only a few nights. Got down below 40. It’s a bit of a cruel joke I guess since we’d been having it about 15-20 degrees warmer for awhile now. Such a yo yo ride. Lol. Also that’s not bad at all tho. If groceries are abt $1300/mo for 7…you are doing very well. It would prob hurt my brain tho to spend all that at one time. (I can be so utterly cheap lol).
