Watching these shows of life in Britain today one can only conclude that the once great (to some people only) ruler of the Commonwealth is no longer that great. The behaviour of these largely young people both men and women is absolutely disgraceful and disrespectful. Where did the parents of these foul mouthed drunken drug taking individuals go wrong? I believe they did not set boundaries and teach these young people that there are consequences for bad behaviour. Yes you have human rights but when your behaviour affects other people's rights and I include the officers of the law and other civil servants like medical staff in hospitals who are there to protect and heal you, you have given up your right to be treated as a useful member of society and deserve no mercy because your behaviour is the result of substance abuse. You made the decision to use both legal and illegal substances while you were of sound mind. Sadly justice is now so diluted by having to take into account the rights of these Antisocial individuals that our police and medical practitioners who have to deal with the aftermath of the actions of these miscreants that being arrested is literally a joke to them. The sentences are way too light and favour the criminal and not the victims. Even if they are found guilty and incarcerated for a period of time and offered rehabilitation and other things like education and psychological counselling it is at taxpayers expense. The other alarming feature is the rise in numbers of females who are almost worse than the males. I am glad that I am at the last part of my life but deeply sad for my children and other people's children and grandchildren who did grow up with boundaries and consequences.
I'm going to be ripped apart but at my age I have seen the decline of youth for 3 generations. The druggies, dealers & other criminals were never punished for infractions whilst growing up. The parents give up when they start kicking off bc it's too late to help them. They are thugs & have no respect for anyone or others possessions, authority or decency. I know It is a generalization but spare the rod & spoil the child is a good tenet & I don't mean beat the child senseless for any unacceptable behaviour. There are many different ways of punishing them & staying involved in their lives certainly teaches them values. If the parents imbibe excessively or domestic violence exists, the children will follow suit. Society as a whole just appear to have thrown in the towel. But, where do we go from here? Another generation is backsliding so their kids will continue with the bad behaviour. I am also thankful that my two boys turned out to be decent men who have taught their kids to also be decent & well mannered. I'm pleased I'm nearing the end of my life as I really don't want to live in a lawless society with practically no consequences for unacceptable behaviour. The police have earned my respect & it's sad that they have to deal with the ever increasing number of scumbags.
I just put this question in so many can think of it and the uploader. Whats wrong with todays policing in UK? And for that matter in Usa. . . When all is about to make it's own population quite and obey the new world order.
