This philosophy you present values the blissful ignorance of a child over the sober knowledge of a scholar.
You're suggesting that the path to atheism is founded upon understanding, curiosity and a desire to know the truth. I agree.
I remember being a child, but I don't remember going "Wow, snow is awesome, it must have been made by an invisible wizard". Even when I was a child, my first impulse was to learn how things work, not to jump to the belief in magic. Now that I know how snow is formed, I am even less inclined to come to the "invisible wizard" conclusion.
So, I guess, stay ignorant and just assume everything is magic, that's your point? That way you may pretend that everything is evidence for an invisible wizard?

Well, no, there is a scientific explanation of how clouds form without any need of any supernatural interference. If you are just going to assume that your God exists for absolutely no reason, why even appeal to the clouds?

And no, brain and logic is MOST CERTAINLY not part of Islam.
If you make these three mistakes you might become an atheist!
1) You have doubt. Because doubt leads to truth. If somebody tells you something and you don't doubt it, you will believe anything. So don't doubt.
2) You read the entire holy book of your religion, including all the mistakes and contradictions in it. Don't do that. Just read the parts that are spoon-fed to you, those are safe. The other ones just lead to doubt, and we don't like doubt, because doubt leads to truth.
3) You get a good education in natural sciences. If you know too much about nature, suddenly all the claims about a global flood or meteors being missiles to kill djinns and whatnot, they'd make no sense anymore and become silly tales or mistakes. So don't learn too much. Stay ignorant.
4) Think about what evidence there really is for the existence of the deity you've been told to worship. And for Gods sake never ask "if somebody else would present the same evidence to me, but for another religion, would I find that convincing?". Never think that way.
5) Follow the evidence to where it leads. Don't do that. Scientists do it to find reliable explanations, and you don't want those. Don't follow the evidence to where it leads, because you might find the truth. It's better to first decide for the conclusion you'd reach ("my God exists, all other deities are false, everything my religion says is true"), and then you simply accept everything that seemingly leads there and deny anything that doesn't. That won't lead you to the truth, but it surely feels better than finding out that you were wrong.

This is a really important presentation. It demonstrates so clearly how ignorance and god belief are directly correlated. Think of the people that wrote the Quran or the Bible. These were ancient people, wholly ignorant of the way the world actually works. Naturally they were highly superstitious in an attempt to explain the world around them and therefor god belief developed, as a means to offer an explanation. As we learned methodology to examine and test our hypotheses about the world (science), we learned that there were reliable, consistent answers to the questions about how the world works. We could now make novel predictions and see them consistently come true. Thus our understanding of the world increased. The ironic thing is that the writer of this presentation is insisting that we stay ignorant of these natural explanations in order to foster our belief in the magical. He is actually correct. If we remain as ignorant as possible, god belief becomes quite easy. Sadly for him, if we educate ourselves, take a little time and put in a little effort, we will find there are very satisfying natural explanations for nearly every phenomenon he mentions. But that is a hard road. It is certainly much easier to plant your head in the sand and just proclaim (wholly without evidence) that “god dun it”. Mind of a baby indeed.

It's really sad actually. Arab science (well, more like philosophy, but there was nothing like modern science then) used to be the most advanced in the world in the early middle ages. The last 7 centuries Islam has become more anti-knowledge than even modern American creationists - this guy being a prime example of someone not even knowing basic stuff primary school children should know, like plants being alive and not being some weird vat of color that fruit should get its own color from - while pretending their storybook predicted scientific achievements in verses that clearly have nothing whatsoever to do with anything they claim.

Is Arab Muslims in the early Middle Ages were scientifically advanced, then does that not say point to how religion isn’t the problem but how people are? Babies behave like they do because they live in a state of perpetual helpless ignorance, the fact that you are encouraging people to have this mindset in order to continue to delude themselves into believing supernatural forces created nature around them is, well it's just funny.

- Children blame the chair when they fall off as if the chair had agency. You're supposed to grow out of that.

You are right sir whoever you are but look at all the plans closely . When you see it with closure it looks like everything is made for us..like water cycle(an incredibly perfect cycle providing water to everywhere),food chain and many other things. Have you ever questioned yourself that if everything is originated from single being than why every specie is so perfect why there exist two genders of human exist..,when you look at evolution period it seems like every specie want to increase itself and even many organism sacrifice their lives intentionally for their generations even though they don't have emotions. Who is urging them to struggle for survival of specie? Who is urging species into best so that they can insure their survival. Who even urged particals or atom to start life at first place . It wasn't simple process to start life it is as complex as formation of complex universe. Their is definitely a force because coincidences can never creat such perfect and incredible system and afterall when atoms have no intentions than who urged them to arrange in such sensitive and complex system because arrangement of single atom can cause disturbance in cell. When atoms have no issue or knowledge what is good or bad for us than who the hell arranged them . Their is definitely someone perfect and all knowing that made everything perfect
And also look at universe.. it's formation and then perfect alignment of planets to protect earth from commits and provide earth incredibly suitable environment to grow life . How can these all things happened at same time . Definitely someone intentionally doing this to give start and than grow life.

The 3 mistakes are:
1. Read the Quran in your own language and find out what it really says, not what your Imams pretend it says.
2. Read the hadith. Preferably in your own language and discover what the perfect man Muhammad was really like. Marrying a 6 year old, bumping her when just 9. Triggering the divorce of his adopted sons wife after lusting over her. Having those who upset his feelings assassinated. Read some of those miracles in the Quran, like sperm being produced between the ribs and the backbone.
3. Check every claim made by dawagandists who rely on you never looking up their reasons especially when it comes to the Bible. (Ps why is Muhammad like Wally, still missing? Surah 7.157, Muhammadis prophesied in the Torah and Injeel... only nobody but liars can find him).
Yep. Read the Quran, read the hadith and start to question your lying Imams and dawagandists and you are on your way out of Islam.

Of course the "if you leave Islam we will kill you" clause does help keep people in the fold.

This is nothing but 'look at the trees' with 'tree' examples. It's easy to point at things and say 'god', but actually showing how it is caused by a god, that is something completely different. Without that, any god can be inserted as the cause and we are no closer to the truth.
Then think further than just trees. What started a tree? A seed? What started that? Continue with the thought process until you’ll question what started the universe? Surely something couldn’t come out of just nothing. Any god cannot just be inserted to the cause of existence. This God the creator should meet the criteria of not being created because the creator of course can’t be a created one. This God should have the knowledge and power to create. God should be self sustaining and logically if God would start something therefore God’s the one who created the time and space continuum in the first place. What God have fulfilled this criteria? Or ponder why do we have consciousness, what is the reason that we’ve given this conscience, surely this order couldn’t came randomly out from randomness.
I know this is a lot. It will takes time to get to the truth. But you should start asking and searching for the truth from now. Ignorance of the truth will bring you regret later. May Allah guide you.
@@tankajahari No need to hand hold (though I appreciate the gesture), this is a well worn path. All thought the contingency argument has good points, it breaks down at the singularity. I see you think the singularity was created with the something out of nothing comment. It's creation or possible infinite existence is something we do not know. Anything beyond that point is speculation, including a god being the cause.
Remember that if you cannot demonstrate the truth, you do not know the truth. Things outside the universe, creators, miracles, the supernatural, cannot be shown to be things. If a god is inserted as the cause, you have nothing but assertion.

Disregarding our capacity to learn and understand, and to live with the unthinking and unlearned mind of a baby, is the most blatant insult to what we were born with, whether because of divinity or nature being besides the point.
As an older person who've followed online apologetics for a couple of decades, I do notice that the lack of education and access to the internet in the Middle East as compared to the West has left Muslim apologists dreadfully vulnerable even the slightest bit of counter arguments. This video is terrible and while I've seen Christian apologetics which are almost as bad, overall you can truly see the difference the internet as an open forum for debate has made them have to up their game when compared to Islam. And just as open, honest discourse has made the West more secular, so will the Middle East and its dominant faith become as information keeps spreading.

Mashaa Allah, my group of friends just finished learning the tafseer of surah Abasa tonight. This is what the surah is about. Ponder the food and how it's made, and how did it come to be? What are the processes involved (the creation of the universe and the miracle of Earth, the water cycle), how the many different types of plants come to be and how it was meant to feed us and to feed our livestock. Mashaa Allah, the wisdom and the rahmah of Allah taala. Have wonder in everything. Be curious. ❤️

I think I’m just now releasing I’m probably an atheist, I just don’t believe in any kind of god and have never really prayed. The thought of being dedicated to some kind of god is a no for me, I just find it so strange. I’m pretty sure I was never baptised or anything as a child, I don’t have anything against religious people, in fact I’ve been friends with a few in the past and currently have one good friend I met at college who is a Christian. She knows I’m not religious and doesn’t hold it against me, and I don’t judge her, I mean tbh she’s not that religious it’s more her family, but she still admitted she believes god is real, I shared with her I don’t and we just agreed we are both entitled to an opinion and shouldn’t hold it against each other. I don’t like how the title suggests being an atheist is a mistake or a generally bad thing, or as if atheists made mistakes that forced them to become one and now they’re doomed.
Nah, the title is for religious people. And "bad" is a subjective matter. I personally don't mind anyone doing anything. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs. Have a great day.

Once we make ordinary out of something that is extraordinary, that means we've stopped progressing. The universe is so big, I don't think we are in the position to declare that God doesn't exist, while in the meantime we haven't even fully explored the earth, our own body, let alone getting out of our solar system.
Can you say that a particular word doesn't exist in this very thick book, meanwhile you haven't barely finished reading even one page?
This is great. I completely agree. Those who yield their lives and their afterlives to the hands of what scientists have been able to explore so far are failing miserably. It will always be an issue. I mean 5 senses will never sense God, as atheists wish. However even when you think through their lens of "I want scientific proof of God" you dont know if science will find scientific proof of God the day after you die. There will never be scientific proof, but Im just speaking through their approach. Its a frivolous way of approaching serious matters.

And if they see the way of consciousness,1(i.e., reason and integrity) they will not adopt it as a way; but if they see the way of error, they will adopt it as a way. That is the default, humanity has been God fearing creatures since eons ago, they believe in the unseen, and how fragile creatures they are. Do you know the root word for creatures? It implies that there is The Creator, by default. Not until recently that there are people who believe that they can create something from nothing, that nothing can create something, is this a superstition or some kind of MLM scheme?
If human want to challenge this default, they would need to be in better position to do that, not while only mapped not even a speck of a blue dot. That's what I want to say.

Jesus would be a mere human being even if acclaimed "god/Son of God," as was Israel. But the forensic argument in John 10 claims much more. No mere human being, Jesus is a heavenly figure who is "equal to God." His equality rests not on holiness but on divine powers intrinsic to him, that is, full divine power.

Actually the atheists mostly focus on the laws of creation and find it superstition to believe on the creator of these laws...they find it logical to put the name of God as Nature..but unwilling to accept that God actually exist.
Might be due to ego or the boundaries they have created to a logic .
This video has rightfully given the reason and explanation of the things that seem normal for everyone as they are continuing every day are actually the miracles of the God.....
I some how thought how human made concepts bring changes to the perspectives..Years ago the Orthodox s religious people made up illogical concepts behind the existence of this universe ..some said Sun is God...Some said the fire is.Some said the earth is...
And when there comes the logical explanation of the existence of God they began to find it superstitious and illogical without even pondering...its all in one's head whether to accept there is Almighty or to live in the shinning delusions of bubble they have made by their own

It's a leap of leaps to jump from the awe of our reality to it being proof that souls exist. Having awe in the universe or our reality does not mean gods exist. It would actually be more amazing if it wasn't created by a being, right? There are no gods and deep down inside we all know it. We've been creating religions and gods since before Mesopotamia, we've been doing it all around the world this entire time. The religions come and go as do their gods. Besides, what loving god would demand you love it and if you wouldn't set you on fire? A real loving-just god would offer positive enforcement, not do so and threaten eternal suffering? Eternal suffering, that's a monster, not a loving god. A real god would be part of the mind we are born with found in cryptic ancient books that are based on where you were born, that's rediculous.

The problem is that you are assuming that there should be a who behind things. If a tree falls over and lands on your house, you don't ask who pushed the tree over.

So I could respond to a lot in here but I'd be repeating things, instead I'm intrigued by you saying that Allah "slows" the falling raindrops with mercy. Are you suggesting that if Allah wasn't actively making the rain slow down as it falls, then water by default would fall faster? The words you chose here suggest that Allah is straining against the way nature would otherwise operate if he didn't exist - why does he, and why would the default be that way?
It's a small question but I think your reasoning behind this cuts to the heart of the reasoning flaws behind most of the things you said in this video.

When we deeply dive into anything, we notice that there is nothing inside it. Then how is it possible that everything is nothing There are simple strings that form subatomic particles and these strings are blank. What if science find what's inside these strings even though there will be nothing inside that thing. A living being, air, water and all the universe is blank. Even that it is different from each other. No doubt it's just a will of Allah almighty. So that lead me that Allah created everything from nothing. And this wonders me how much beautiful Allah will be beautiful who created so much beautiful creature and nature.
Perhaps what you said is true that God created everything that the eye can see. The problem now is which one is the true God who is believed to have created all of that? You believe in Allah because He is the God you were told to believe in from the moment you were born. But you forget that Allah once had 3 daughters named Al-Lat, Al-Uzza and Manat during the time of ignorance before the advent of Islam. Allah used to be an idol that was worshiped by the pagans including the Prophet's own father named Abdullah. And i’m quite sure that you already know the meaning of that name in Arabic, don't you? And sorry to break your bubble but it's just impossible that Allah who was once an idol made of rock and also has three daughters who created it all .

Saying that because some corrupted idolators believe something of Allah means that it is true is illogical, especially considering that Allah Himself rebukes this in the Qur'an
