I respect the determination it took for you to (almost) complete this insane project. From the dash swap to the sound deadening to the insane wiring, well done!
ps. Where can I get some of that patience?!

Nice clean work. The only thing I would say that I would’ve done differently is using different colors of heat shrink for positive and negative, but that’s just me. Great job though.

Great video. I'm installing a 4 channel Kenwood amp using that Amp Pro in my 2014 2500.
Needed to see how it was installed and how to get it functioning.

I have a 2015 ram 1500 with a factory radio. I got the AP4-CH41(R.2) and kind of having a tough time. I got my amp, sub and wires hooked up. But my sub isn't turning on.

The bass knob actually turns it on if knob is all the way to the left it’s off but if turned to the right it will turn on.

I also install the amp pro. in my 2017 ram 1500. I didn’t see you in the video where you hooked up your speaker wires from the pants to the little pigtail they gave you. Or did you just run new wires from the amps straight to the speakers?

So I have a 22 gladiator that I’m getting ready to add sub/amp and then all new speakers with another amp. I am factory amplified so I bought this to make it plug and play… my question is can I do similar to you where I am putting both amps onto this or is there a different way I should wire it since one amp is for the door speakers and the other for the subs

Nice video, hey when you mounted your pac amp pro did it jus fit right behind the radio or did you have to mount it somewhere outside the radio? I'm thinking of getting an pac amp pro since I heard it's the best to get flat signal with oem radios. Jus was hoping it fits behind the radio or jus sits behind it

She is coming along ! I’m trying to swap my aftermarket for a 8.4 to have CarPlay but I was afraid to loose my amps for the sub and speakers. I looked at the manual but I’m confused still. Is channel 1-4 are only for the speakers and 5-6 for the subs ? Your videos are helping me a lot for
The sound system for sure . Thank you !

I purchased same product for my 2019 Charger Scatpack, Alpine 6 speakers idk about the factory amplifier. I'm stuck at the harness that reads for factory amplified . When I complete those 2 clips @22:25; I get full audio on all four corners. When I wire up my speed cables I only get audio in right side of car and front left. Am i missing something or my device faulty

I’m so confused, once you hook up the PAC AmpPRO AP4-CH41 to the 4 channel amp through the RCA jack how do you connect the 4 channel amp back to the car speakers with out a bunch of splitting and splicing

    • @bgarciaink
      @bgarciaink  8 месяцев назад

I suppose you could tap in behind the head unit to get your factory wire speaker signal, but I always run new wires to my speakers. Basically what the pac is doing is supplying a clean rca signal (like an aftermarket head unit). It did come with an extra harness that I don’t think I used..it had the typical colors for factory speaker wiring (white, green, purple ..). It’s been a while man, I don’t remember too well. I would try calling crutchfield. They’re usually pretty good at answering these type of questions. Hope this helps

Great video! To clarify, if I have the 8.4 Uconnect, 6 speaker system (aka NON amplified), all I would need to hook up a mono amp and a subwoofer to the factory radio would be this PAC AP4-CH41 correct? I would NOT need the ANC bypass harness? It's so hard to find consistent info.

    • @ceavalencia4767

I have the same stock sounds. I didn't get the ANC bypass. I think its ok. Did you look under your seats for the device?
I'm having issues with maybe the color on the speaker leads might br wrong Idk

Can i start by using this harness to have a sub output? My current set up is, i have a lc2i and im taping in to the rear speaker on my Chrysler 300 with 6 speakers alpine. How ever i feel like the signal is not as good as an aftermarket radio with a sub out rca connector. And i want an actual sub out. Will this work? I do plan on having an amp with dsp in the future but i just want to start with the subwooferfor not. My plan is to have audio control’s d-5.1300 powering my whole set up, but thats later on

That is not a gain control, it is a level control. That knob does NOT change the gain, as that is set at the amplifier.

I’m 100% not a fan of using ring terminals for something like this. I’m also not a fan up putting distribution blocks under hood. Much cleaner to run a single breaker like back into the cabin and mount the distribution block by the amps. This eliminates the amount of wire being run and saves ton in money and labor. One wire to run then small clean jumpers at the amps from the block.
I’m also not understanding the big three wiring tied into the distribution block itself. If you’re gonna do something like that it should be a buss bar not a fused box.
I also don’t understand why the big three is double terminated ground at the battery? This is supposed to go to the frame ground not batter ground. By running this through the battery you actually didn’t accomplish much in terms of what the upgrade is for. Maybe I’m not seeing this all right as shown?
I’m also really confused now that we are actually running a buss bar but also a distribution block? They are the same thing for different purposes..
It’s clean and the time and effort shows but tbh man I’m not entirely sure you understand how electrical works.. a lot of this is double duty for same thing and not really practical for intended purposes.
You should used Ferrell connections under the hood and at the batter too! That’s what I’m saying lol.. ring terminals for ground connections everything else use Ferrell and multi terminal blocks for the Ferrell connections. It’s soo much better connection and cleaner install.

Dude! NO MORE THAN 18 INCHES ON GROUND WIRE. Installer for 35yrs. Electrons flow from negative to positive. You want your amps to have immediate ground points. Car audio 101. You're hampering your entire system running ground wire longer than that. Nice work tho man.
