Jay Denes' fingerprints are all over this as you can hear in the percussion within the opening seconds of the track. This one moves me just as much as the original.

UPDATE** Am in touch with JD. Both sides are remixed by Jay Denes - Migs never did Sade. Also, both of these tracks were legit for Epic Records out of the UK and ended up getting bootlegged in Europe. Never got an official release. Hope this clears the air :-)

Garth Trinidad from KCRW played this a few times in 2001. He said it was a "white label" that you couldn't find in stores. Raul Campos played it recently and gave the correct title. Good to hear again..

It was something very beautiful cooked up in San Francisco back then. Independent and crafting classic after classic, be it compilations or albums.
I miss the label but maintain the memories. I remain hopeful that a Blue Six or Aya album will be gifted to us soon for our wait.

An amazingly beautiful soundscape was created for Sade by Jay Denes!!! She however, REJECTED this remix to be released as a single! Thankfully someone got this into the hands of dj's who understood the potential of the track. Bootleg or not, Sade should be grateful, its too good not to be heard! Thank the bootleg gods!

Nothing since 2014's "Signs & Wonders" under his Blue Six moniker unfortunately. His signature sound would be unmistakable though. We all await with anxious ears for his return. Eight years has been his longest period of absence as it relates to releasing a new album.
