Strapless kitesurfing 8: first attempts of one-handed kite steering

I took a 11 m kite for predicted light winds (13-15 knots) but wind suddenly picked up till 16-19 knots and I got quite overpowered. Despite the rising chop, decided to proceed with a 1-handed steering, while use both hands for a kite correction. Riding cross-wind went well but going upwind was not that successful in shot runs, and I was too much focused on kite instead of looking ahead. It appeared that my very first attempts of 1-handed steering were not too bad according to my coach Mark who, as usually, was busy with kite lessons (kitesurfingzeeland) yet still found free moments to follow my progress.
