If I were to rate this series, this series fare better as compared to GyeongSeong Creature (which was 10 episodes)! Really hope Netflix CEO recognises the skills of the team behind this series! And the cast!
I was wondering why the main character was not Shinichi with Migi, so I kept avoiding to watch it telling it would be trash. My greatest theory on why the Parasyte hasn't taken over the female MC: Her accident might be fatal. Like, the road she drove was, like, a bridge? She went from great heights, so she might be in the face of death... UNTIL!!! The consumption process for a Parasyte might take time, stated by the Parasyte itself. I'll call them Ban, which means "Half." Now, Ban is also dying, so, despite taking over the female MC's head, they are also running out of time and settled to half of her face. Thus, our new female MC with Ban is born. (I haven't finished the anime, nor I tackled the manga, so I beg your pardon for that.) PS: This takes place in the same universe, but in a different setting. Oh well, let's see how other countries face the Parasytes.
I noticed that you haven't finished the anime so I'll just say that your theory is correct as there is a character with a similar fate as the female MC. But yeah, anyways, hype
At first, I thought this is Netflix's own version of Parasyte the Maxim and it's really good. But then, Shinichi appeared on the last episode and now the series is on another level😯😁🔥 I hope there are many seasons to come. @@nizaarahmadfirdaus8391 Yes but it's the same damn story. They just changed the name and the gender of the MC. I saw the trailer. I don't know where did the others get the idea that this is a sequel to the manga/anime when the manga and anime has already finished the conflict. Based on this trailer alone what I'm getting is a reboot of the same story from the anime but they're just twisting it into something different and moved the location to Korean cause Korean drama is popular today.
It's in a different country same universe, and the reason why the parasite couldn't take over completely was because she was already dying and heavely wounded so the parasite saved the body first so it could survive but only took over half of the brain bc of it.
It was actually really good. It highly reminded me of Venom since both organisms have to live symbiotically in order to survive for the main character just as well.
Just finished episode 6... Hell yea, Shinichi. If possible, budget needs to be increased for season 2, not to look cheap (I'm referring to the storyline), but I suppose it's possible this was intentional, to save the best for the other season(s). Please give us a season 2 this show was fantastic and it doesn't deserve to be a stand alone season please I beg you
I'm in let's do together
I can already tell this is going to be another banger from Netflix!
Hope you are right, man.
The anime was really good so that’s a high bar
Nuh uh??
@@joseabreu-nn5cunotthe same story tho more likely like the same universe.
Let’s be more accurate. It’s a banger from the Korean side of Netflix. The western side is mostly cringy content. The best shows I’ve seen so far on Netflix have all mostly been Korean, Japanese and Thai shows. Like Squid Game itself beats most of the western Netflix shows.
Manifesting a successful live adaptation
this is not adaptation, it a spin off
This show was actually really great! Just finished my binge.
Currently watching this... I'm not disappointed so far. Well, the way not to disappoint the fans is just to make a totally new story in a different setting while being in the same universe. I think this is a better way of anime/manga adaptation.
From Sweet Home to this? Wow🎉 At first I thought I was watching Venom in Korean version but this is more than what we expect, can't tell you more coz I'm in love with this drama❤just don't want to miss all the episodes🎉
Venom??? In korean version is what?
YOOO LET'S GOOO I LOVE THIS ANIME 😳👀
Not ian appearing out of nowhere
Anime? Bro they just robbed the concept not anime
@royaltechgaming_ Anime version came out years ago
@@royaltechgaming_ I wouldn’t call it robbing cause it’s BASED on the anime parasyte. I want to call it a spin-off instead. It’s the same universe, but then this time, it’s Korea, making it a global problem. It’s also the same as the movie called Bird Box. The original film happens in America, but there’s a spin-off called Bird Box Barcelona. ;)
@@richellajeanit's based of the manga and so is the anime
Just finished watching this and i absolutely loved it! I love it just as much as the anime which is unexpected. It wasn’t dragged and kept me hooked from start to finish. The ending was perfect and had me screaming from excitement. PLEASE NETFLIX MAKE SEASON 2 😭❤️
Watch the original anime then if you are done watching the sequel (continuation of the series)
I am not gonna lie , Korea is killing it ,
Just finished and had to come here again the series is awesome and that ending name reveal literal goosebumps 🔥🔥🔥
I like that this takes place in Korea and isn't trying to BE the Japanese manga, but a solid complimentary piece to the parasyte universe. I'm enjoying it.
In less than a year my two favorite animes: One Piece and Parasyte have a live action series.
What a great time and also this series will be released on the month for my birthday, such a great gift!!
I really hope it will be good!
Parasyte had at least two live action movies from Japan years ago...and this one isn't from the manga, but it's like a new story...
I loved the anime and still plan on reading the manga but I have faith in this! Korea always delivering some amazing quality work.
Also Train to busan director make this. So this one will be another hit.
This based on a Japanese anime
@@danurkresnamurti3598train to busan 2 peninsula sucks though..
I watched the whole series in one night 😅 incredible work ❤
I'm really looking forward for season 2!! Also Migi and Heidi interaction will be the most iconic scene if they make it come true😂😂
Even in live action those things still give me chills.
Editor, Writer and Director deserve ALL of the Korean awards 🏆🏆🏆 for summarising the whole plot in 6 episodes! I personally loved how everything’s cut to the chase. If I were to rate this series, this series fare better as compared to GyeongSeong Creature (which was 10 episodes)!
Really hope Netflix CEO recognises the skills of the team behind this series! And the cast!
If it's made in Korea, you can trust it.👍
lol na. Don't watch GyungSung or w/e zombie crap they made. Im korean . But this series is awesome.
I was wondering why the main character was not Shinichi with Migi, so I kept avoiding to watch it telling it would be trash.
But then at the end it dawned on me that they are in Korea, and the anime version is based in Japan, since the epidemic is all over the world, well, glad I watched it then because the protagonist appears in the end! 10/10
This was great, cant wait for more...get season 2 rolling.😉
Parasyte Maxim was awesome. I have hope
Wasn't interested at first, but once I got started, i couldn't stop watching until the end. 5/5
masterpiece by Korean, once again.
I love that this is a spin to the original story...which we concluded pretty nicely!
Even in the anime migi mentioned there are more parasytes in other countries so this is a good spinoff!!
Another scene where the detective are doing conference about this they say america is taking action about this creatire in their country.
Next it's America maybe
My greatest theory on why the Parasyte hasn't taken over the female MC:
Her accident might be fatal.
(I haven't finished the anime, nor I tackled the manga, so I beg your pardon for that.)
PS: This takes place in the same universe, but in a different setting. Oh well, let's see how other countries face the Parasytes.
I noticed that you haven't finished the anime so I'll just say that your theory is correct as there is a character with a similar fate as the female MC.
But yeah, anyways, hype
@@youraverageroadrunner8787actually it’s two characters remember the guy who almost died drowned?
@@rftg1793 Pretty sure that's who he is referring too....
@@xPTKx37 oh my bad
They literally say why in this trailer, 0:50
I watched the whole series in one night incredible work
Finished ! I love it, hoping for s2
Totally recommend this. Way better than Yuyu Hakusho LA & Percy Jackson s1
At first, I thought this is Netflix's own version of Parasyte the Maxim and it's really good. But then, Shinichi appeared on the last episode and now the series is on another level😯😁🔥
I hope there are many seasons to come. After bridging the stories of Shinichi on his Japan experience with other parasyte and our girl from Korea, you can then venture for other countries allowing for so many stories to be made😊
For now, I'm more excited for Shinichi and our girl from Korea😁
Keep it up!!!❤
I love that there doing their own story.
Waiting - season 2 marvelous brilliant performance actor & avtress team grey chief superb last scene brilliant ❤
Watch the original anime then if you are done watching the sequel (continuation of the series)
The parasite behaves like a symbiote like VENOM.
this is rather a venom sequel not a parasyte adaptation
Last Week : Completed Sweet Home Szn 1 & 2
Yesterday Completed : This One Szn 1 to 6 can't wait for upcoming episodes ❤❤
i loved it!! i'm hoping for Season 2!
I just finished watching this, it was amazing, some scenes are so good and will make you jump off your seat :D
It’s ass
Can't wait to watch. Love this kind of thriller, live action movies.
From Malaysia.
Damm that ending give me Goosebumps more than total 6 episode those who did not watch Anime parasite not goona fill that goosbump moment that "Right Hand" on spot man 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Korea drama is so crazy.!!!!!!!!
Its amazing series.. Im eagerly walting for season 2😊
When I heard they'd make this into a netflix adaptation I was very sceptical especially with how they were gonna recreate the parasyte. But this honestly looks very promising. I'm excited to give it a shot!
Train to busan director make this. So this one will be another hit. If you like train to busan.
they are not adapting but they're making a spin off of parasyte the maxim that has the plot sets in korea, so basically another story in the same universe
In Japan, we have Migi, and Migi = Right.
In Korea, we might have Ban-Eolgul, and Ban-Eolgul = Half-Face.
That's just a prediction, or a guess!
🤯wow
Parasyte's Name is Heidi.
Cool ngl
@@thekite3h if that's the name then maybe it's in reference to Jekyll and Hyde
Its SHIT.
Netflix really out did themselves with this masterpiece. Absolutely loved it. The only upsetting thing is that it is only 6 episodes….
One episode left and I’m loving this one . But “my name” is still my favorite series
i have hope they'll do parasyte right
It’s a different adaptation, not the same story , yet set in the same universe
@@twinsstyle2509exctly! I hope we have some cameos tho
Can't u tell. I mean... They show it pretty much enough🤷🤷♀️
The previous live action was decent narrative and pacing wise..
I just finished watching the whole episode and it was great! hoping there will be season 2. 😊 10/10 rating 😊👍🔥 Su-In and Miss Choi very good character 😊
Is it based on the anime or have its own separate plot?
@@K.harieshK-xv2tt idk about the anime version, so i can't answer 🥲

Wow this came out amazingly and season 2 would include senichi. And connect the original anime.
Im happy to see that there's a new released parasyte movie after many years
This series is really good.. Currently watching this
Just finished watching it i really liked how they did it!!
Finished it and it's pretty good. Wish it had more episodes but really worth the watch.
Just finished it, loved it
I’m pretty sure someone gave them a hand for Season 2

I wasn't sure I'd be into this one, but I got hooked! Obviously there's more to come, so I hope Netflix gets on the ball and comes through.
I cannot wait for season 2 I need it like right now it’s so good😭
There was already a Japanese LA of this and it was really good am excited to see the the korean Ver
It's another story
@@dercoxile9939 ya i figured i just remembered the jap one was good
@@dercoxile9939How so? It's literally telling the same story of a Parasite merging with a human. Only this time to a Korean girl.
@@robertbench5187 it implies that the event is global "global alien invasion" how did you not understand that? lol
@@nizaarahmadfirdaus8391 Yes but it's the same damn story. They just changed the name and the gender of the MC. I saw the trailer. I don't know where did the others get the idea that this is a sequel to the manga/anime when the manga and anime has already finished the conflict. Based on this trailer alone what I'm getting is a reboot of the same story from the anime but they're just twisting it into something different and moved the location to Korean cause Korean drama is popular today.
i just finished it, and loveeee it so much! especially bcz i love thriller and also monsters in kdramas so this is definetely a must watch kdrama
It's in a different country same universe, and the reason why the parasite couldn't take over completely was because she was already dying and heavely wounded so the parasite saved the body first so it could survive but only took over half of the brain bc of it.
😊Yesterday i saw this series was extraordinary... Dont miss it friends...
Just finished watching all 6 eps on dramanice and loved it. Very entertaining from the start to the end. 10/10
Finally something that looks worth watching
This is amazing from the anime to reality 🔥🔥🔥
Parasite" is a famous Japanese manga beloved by many anime enthusiasts. It's exciting to see a Korean adaptation being made of this manga.
It was actually really good. It highly reminded me of Venom since both organisms have to live symbiotically in order to survive for the main character just as well.
Watch the original anime then if you are done watching the sequel (continuation of the series)
I’m addicted to Korean films and series ❤ def watching this too even though I’ve never seen the anime
Just finished episode 6... Hell yea, Shinichi. If possible, budget needs to be increased for season 2, not to look cheap (I'm referring to the storyline), but I suppose it's possible this was intentional, to save the best for the other season(s).
Everyone needs to be honest with themselves, and just admit season 2 can be done a lot better, which would increase the number of episodes.
congratulations to the director Yeon Sang-ho, so much intense!!, i love it!
