I watched a ton of these before coming here and I’m surprised no one has said anything about buying the unlimited rides pass for the subway. We were here for a week and bought single rides to the hotel and then reloaded with $10 the next time. By day 3 we ran out again and that’s when I saw the option for the unlimited 7 day pass for $33.00. We got that and in the 4 days we definitely made it worth it still.
You are my FAVORITE NYC guide! I used to live there as a child and try to visit the city once or twice a year! And when I do, I "brush up" on my "to do's and do nots" by watching or re-watching your videos! And I tell everyone who is planning a visit to watch your videos!! Great work Sarah!!!

I totally agree on skipping the Empire State Building. I hated it. When I went, the rest of the observation decks weren't there yet, so it was the thing to do. I'm a little claustrophobic, so by the time I got to the top, I was totally over it and just wanted to leave. Worst experience I ever paid for.

Dear Sarah, I went to RiseNY last year twice it was fantastic. The ride had me on the edge of my seat. The theaters on Broadway in NY has such good acoustics. My favorite observation in NY is Summitone vanderbilt. Also the Museum of Broaway was neat.

Walking etiquette- as a nurse, I’m used to walking fast and sometimes even faster than other nurses, and I don’t even realize it unless someone points it out. When I went to NYC last year I thought everyone was walking slow 😂. I’m going back to NYC November 2025 and I’m taking my mom with me, we’ll be going for about ten days. I need to have her watch some of your videos so she doesn’t make the same mistakes as other such as walking slow and stopping right in the middle of the sidewalk to check her phone.

Hi! I’ll be traveling to the US for 3 weeks this June 2024 and will be visiting NYC (4 Days) & LA (3 Days). I have already paid for my hotels.
Also, My budget is $250 per day for exploring the city and covering major tourist attractions.

You can't download seated if you're from another country because the app store won't allow it.
Wow, the food recommendations are horrendous. Lombardi’s pizza is not good by even the low standard in Little Italy these days- there are a few decent NY style pizza places in Manhattan, otherwise you go to Brooklyn for pizza. While Sushi Nakazawa is high-quality, it’s an over-priced tourist trap and better options in Manhattan exist. Los Tacos No. 1 don’t even make tacos properly. There is one decent place in Midtown, otherwise you go to Sunset Park for tacos.
