I am so grateful to Shree Krishna for giving me another chance when I entered adulthood.
During adolescence, I was lost.
Completely lost in this material world.
Indulging in sensual objects without a care.
Blamming all my suffering on Hari when actually it was the karmas from my past lives.
Bad family relationship.
Questioning the existence of God, despite growing up in a Hindu family, not too devoted but devoted enough to celebrate festivals and have some spirtual knowledge.
But most of all, I always wondered about in the woods trying to find the purpose of my life.
And it all changed in that one fateful day one year ago, when I saw a group of mostly foreigners in saffron dress chanting the Hare Krishna Mahamantra near a broadway in London. I was quite amused and surprised to see foreigners out of all people, spreading the love for Govinda, it felt weird to me at first, as I arrogantly thought Hinduism (Sanatan Dharma) was only followed by Asians including myself. Oh how wrong I was, when I later on discovered Srila Prabhupada's vision and ISKCON.
But like how Gajendra and Draupadi were saved from their doom, Keshava saved me as well. The Mahamantra had entered my subconcious mind and had resonated to my soul. From their on, it was all just a snowball effect. I started watching a lot of spirtual videos, practicing meditation, watching the lectures from spirtual teachers like Swami Mukundanada, Sadhguru, and Gurudev to discovering ISKCON. And the biggest achievement for me in this life is, being able to read the Bhagavad Gita with Swami Mukundanda's commentary. I don't have many material achievements either, but reading the Gita was the best thing in my life.
Fast forward to now, I am doing 16 rounds of Jaapa, reading more scriptures, trying to learn Sanskrit, planning to visit more temples, and looking to completely stop meat consumption (I know I should already stop completely, but it can be difficult when your household has a history of meat consumption. On the brightside, I have been steadily increasing the number of days eating only vegetarian food from not even a single day to 4 days, and the changes feel very good). And I will be completely honest, I still have a long way to go, as I still have urges here and there for the pleasure of sensual objects, after all there is no journey or process that is perfect, but one thing is for sure, that I will still keep moving towards Him not matter what because for every step I make towards Him, He will make 70 steps towards me.
So, my dear friends, brothers and sisters, lets chant and devote ourselves to our dear Shree Krishna or whatever Ishta Deva you prefer in this dark age of Kali and help others be inspired.

This is a good channel for knowledge & Hindu philosophy but I request the owner of this channel to avoid bhakti vedanta books(ISKON) . As ISKON books are highly corrupt & mixed with bhakti & own Abrahamic style teachings.
Well, only in this video, for some Bhagavatam Verses, I referred to their book because of how easy and simple their language was. But still, I made sure to do some tweaks by referring to the actual sanskrit words, to make sure the actual intended essence of the verses was not diluted in any way. The content on this channel will always be authentic.

People never had a better live then now. Kali Yuga is finished . Guru of Yoganada also said that if you don't believe me.
People have a better life now? That's not true. If you mean a better life of delusion, then yes. Compared to the last 500-1000 years, things might appear better but overall, historically, decline only has happened. Dharma is almost forgotten, the cultural understanding, spiritual wisdom, values, ethics and morality are at an all time low. Greed, Lust, Jealousy, Crimes, Delusion, Anxiety etc. are so over the top, everywhere in the world. Besides there are many other signs and predictions in other scriptures that indicate Kaliyuga is just in the beginning. I can't explain it all here but know that things will only deteriorate in the coming time. And what Swami Yukteshwar (with all due respect to him) said, I don't agree with that. Perhaps he meant so in a different sense but we are in the Kaliyuga. All the mainstream Hindu texts and sages align on this fact. Just for the record… the Universal Spiritual brotherhood and sisterhood (USB) in the book Spiritual Light playfully call our ages the dim ages, a progression from the dark ages.
Next is Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri, Paramahansa Yogananda’s guru says I believe in autobiography of a yogi, that we are now in the second stage, Krita yuga.
On top of this I can take direct quotes from this video and disprove them. The obvious one being people won’t live past 50. I think that you channel is ok, and gives people avenues to find new scriptures, sages, etc. but it’s not the real thing, and at best your a teacher along the way. You aren’t a guru nor are you giving the full experience of the scriptures through your videos.
Hey since your responding to everyone else, why don’t you tell everyone why you are a good source? What makes you dependable and trustworthy?
Well, I will certainly respond to you and explain. Please note the following points -
1. With all due to respect to USB (hearing it for the first time) and their books, or any other organization or their books, they're not considered authentic from an Hindu Perspective. Now it may appear to people that there has been a progression if you look at the limited subset of the timeline and cherry pick the aspects to compare it with the present time, but overall, things are certainly declining if you look at a broader picture.
2. There are many others that questioned the traditional Yuga Cycle and tweaked it but all the traditional scriptures, Jyotisha texts and Smriti texts of Hinduism maintain emphatically we're in Kaliyuga. There are many other ways of interpreting a Yuga Cycle (subsets of 4 yugas in each yuga etc.), but we're certainly not in pure Krita Yuga. If you read the description of Krita or Satya Yuga from Hindu scriptures, it will be clear.
3. There's nothing you can disprove. The Kaliyuga has recently started 5000 years ago roughly and will last for 427K years more, as per the sages and scriptures. Not all the predictions will be fulfilled right away. But there are more signs that prove we're in Kaliyuga, in other scriptures. Now, the situation is little good because Kaliyuga is in the initial stages. In the first 10K years of Kali Yuga, it will be much better but things will decline more rapidly after the first 10K years of Kali Yuga are over. The 50 year age limit will become true too.
4. There is rise and fall in the curve. The decline won't happen in a clean, linear manner. There will be crests and troughs in the severity of the situations. Goodness and Negativity will fight again and again. From time to time, saints and sages will improve the situations. Then for a certain period of time, things will appear to be going nice and so on. Nevertheless, on the whole, the curve will head downwards only, eventually and things will start to deteriorate more and more with the passage of time.
5. The content of this video itself is taken from Bhavavad Purana, which is one of the most significant and quite scientifically accurate scripture too. All other videos are likewise taken from the words of enlightened sages and authentic scriptures of Hinduism (incl. Bhagavad Gita, Yogananda etc. that you mentioned). Thousands of people appreciate the content. If you don't find the channel to be a good source, all I'd say is that it's unfortunate, but still fine.
6. You say that the content of the channel is second hand. You're free to have those views. I have 100s of reasons to disagree and even disprove that, but well I don't mind. Not everyone can be pleased anyways so it's fine. As mentioned in the channel description too, the content is taken from authentic Hindu scriptures and words of Hindu Sages. If that's not trustworthy, I don't know what is. Everyone else that watches my content already knows that and so I don't need to prove anything to them.
7. Obviously there'd be disagreements, people don't have to blindly agree on everything and that's fine. But just to comment on the whole channel whose content is based on Hindu Scriptures and Sages (which are timeless and divine) and call it a bad source or second hand (that too by quoting new age stuff against it), that too without doing proper research from your side, isn't very wise. It's in fact quite hilariously ironic and doesn't suit an actual spiritual person.
You're still welcome to disagree with the channel content, I personally don't mind. It's Kali Yuga anyways, so...😉

Ok so you agree that new age saints and sages are legit. But when it comes to Yogananda and his line of gurus you disagree with them? Is that to say that you know more than this line of gurus? Or you simply haven’t read what they created? I’m positive every single one of these gurus has read all the scripture or simply knows the scriptures teaching from direct experience. I’m curious if you think that they are wrong? If you want me to find what I’m referring to exactly I can. Sri Yukteswar did say that he believes we are no longer in Kali Yuga.
I’ve concluded that we are both hindu in the sense that we both want the culture of sharing our discovery’s and be devoted to whatever the present moment calls us to devote ourselves to. But if you haven’t read autobiography of a yogi or other lessons from Yogananda, then our understandings and where we are coming from are different. But let me say that new age teachings and saints are valuable to me and my understanding as I believe translations need both a culture and language to understand enough to properly translate. And we are living now, so we must find what’s best suited and understandable in our current human condition. That not to say that your translation are wrong, just that the condition of the existence in this time is questionable. I encourage you to read srf lessons as well as spiritual light by the USB. Both are Hindu in that they don’t disparage any other religion but only speak of connections between all peoples and religions. The srf for example draws from biblical and Hindu texts/traditions. These peoples causes are pure, there lives beautiful. They are only trying to serve God by serving Gods children. But I disagree with your video in relation to our times.
