- Recording made on the 19th of October 2014 at the Stride, Swing & Boogie Woogie Concert organized by the Steinway Galery at the Pianohaus Micke in Münster, Germany. It was a great concert with two fantastic pianoplayers: Stephanie Trick and Christian Bleiming.
Here Stephanie Trick plays a Fats Waller composition from 1929 called Ain't Misbehavin'. Listen, watch and enjoy!! Видеоклипы
Absolutely Brilliant.
Excellent..bravo..fats is digging you young lady
What a great talent. Just heard the great Fats Waller version on XM radio in the car this afternoon.
She is always amazing!
Stephanie Trick is a great pianist, has received a gift from God! love her playing
Looks wonderful and plays wonderfully...what a combination!
Perfectly wonderful and inspiring! Thank you!
Beautiful. Any one hand puts both of mine to shame!
Truly a beautiful musician, great player. Thanks for bringing this song to us in California.
This one is the most beloved tune written by Fats Waller. Stephanie Trick not only delivers, her performance is so fresh with new riffs etc., but she is loyal to Fats and his version. I'll call it a draw. And not once did I see her make a failure. She is amazing!
This is brilliant. She is tops.
This is my favorite Fats Waller record, because it showcases his sense of humor, spoofing some of the silly sappy songs of the day, while also showcasing his wonderful piano skills. I don't think any of his other recordings combine the two so well.
I can't help but hear Fats singing.
Fantastic as usual, What a talented pianist Stephanie is.
Atta girl! Fantastic.
A sweet personality, with a wonderfull gift. I love seeing and haar her playing.
So wonderful and joyous, Stephanie! Thank you!
Love watching her loving it.
This is great. She does her own thing while playing it like Fats may have. Nice to see young people play this old stuff. Keep it up
Magnifique interprétation, bravo ! C'est un extraordinaire hommage à Fats Waller, il aurait adoré vous entendre jouer de cette manière, avec ce rythme et cette finesse harmonique.
Stephanie channels Fats A+!
What a gift you have! Enjoyed watching & hearing you play quite a while today! Surely you have a natural gift when you can make it look so effortless and fun! Bravo!
Big fan of stephanie trick! Sadly musicians like Fats Waller don't exist today. Of course that's not entirely a fair statement, they hardly did during his life time either.
Yeah, but we got Stephanie and that's a good thing.
This is amazing! Great Job!
Très belle interprétation .J'adore cette pianiste !
Great! One of the few recordings including the verse! Even composer Fats Waller himself usually neglected the musical introduction of the song! #PaulMcKnife #SongsWithVerses
la partie en stride une merveille ..
Great performance
Excellent groove.
I love to hear more and I listen
Your piano playing 24/7. Thanks for the beautiful music! GOD BLESS YOU !!!
Thanks Great---
A nice orthodox version of a great piece.
magnifique mon rêve de jouer ainsi GILBEERT CHELEUX
Brilliant
wowowowowow
Stephanie smiles and looks as if she is enjoying herself, Diana Krall doesn't.
Ian Edwards different type of players.
People are different. Did you just figure that out?
To those who commented, you are absolutely right. I had forgotten completely I had made this comment and now for the life of me cannot think why I did. Totally misplaced intolerance. Especially as I cannot raise a smile at all when I am playing! DK is a stunning musician and I have several of her albums which I thoroughly enjoy. An off day for which there is no excuse.
Super
😍
Bliss
fuckin amazing
Where can I find that piano sheet? So blessful to hear this song!
The piano sheet is in her head
Nice broken tenths.
Hang on -- She changes key around 3:28.
Yes she does - so?
That wuz reel good! Now play somethung yew know.
A new Diana Krall is born
Lars Hedenström Different style, and no singing. This has nothing to do with Krall.
Diana Krall sings and Stephanie doesn't. At least not yet as far as I know.
Stephanie's piano certainly sings
I surprised that Steinway doesn't supply a better, less stridently bright, piano. Would have sounded better on an old upright. Just the truth, and Stephanie, lighten up on the left hand.
Says you
This is more staccato than when she played it at Dominican University, California.
Really? How so?
Julia McIntyre Joking, right? It ain't even funny....
The way Fred Astaire was clumsy.
Oh, yea, she is clumsy., right! Brilliant statement you made. Describe to us how you would change this. I would like to hear your version.
I meant it's not as good as when she played it at Dominican University, California.
