Fender Player Plus Jazz Bass is Very Noisy…..

The noiseless pickups aren’t noiseless at all on this Fender Player Plus Jazz Bass. There is a lot of static and buzzing, and for some reason it occurs when I touch near the pickup on the pick guard itself. All grounds are ok. Does this in active and passive mode. Buzzing goes away when you touch metal. Problem with the static noise in the pick guard is as you can see at the end, it’s whenever I move my thumb when I anchor to the pickup. That’s where I mainly play so I always hear that static coming through as I’m playing.
