From virtual reality (VR) arcade games in the early ’90s to the millions of augmented reality (AR) lenses available on Snap AR, the evolution of XR is gaining steam. According to the research group Statista, the global XR market size, forecast at $31 billion in 2021, is expected to swell to $300 billion by 2024.
