    In this video we review the new camera flagship from Vivo, the X100 Pro which is priced at Rs. 89,999. The phone comes with a 3-camera set up and also features the new V3 chip and the Mediatek Dimensity 9300 processor.
    Lots of talk about this camera, but is it worth the Hype? Watch and find out.

    Recently I went to a friend's sister wedding and I realised why a premium camera phone is a necessity. I am still using Realme X2 pro for more than 4 years and its still delivering on performance front but night photoshoot especially in wedding scenario is horrendous with lens flare, noise and ghosting. I prebooked Vivo X100 pro keeping in mind it will cover me in night scenarios especially weddings where i can't miss memories due to lens flares. Hope Vivo X100 pro deliver what it promises.

      Hi Shraman. The technology, sensors, algorithms change every year and get better with each edition of the phones. So a 4 year old phone would not keep upto to today’s standards when it comes to lowlight. Having said that the X100 Pro has got good lowlight performance. I found it to be delivering results true to the actual scene, but yes sometimes it does have a slight yellowish, reddish tinge. But that’s something that’s passable. :)

    Using this X100 pro, camera is best but found one major problem where if you take many pictures continuously then it start heating too much.

    Very good and unbiased review. Whether one will spend 90K on a Vivo phone depends entirely on one's understanding of the value being offered. With some AI tricks added to the mix Samsung will charge 50 thousand more while more or less delivering same images, plus I believe it can't match a 1 Inch sensor in low light.
    I have pre booked Vivo X100 pro and i think it's a value for money proposition.

      Thanks a lot Agam for appreciating our review.
      Yes I do agree that the phone is very good value for money. But non-vivo users do you think will take the plunge? I just wish that the UI was slightly better though. But overall a top phone.

      @AsianPhotographyMagazine I have been using Samsung for quite some time and am switching to Vivo X100 pro. I am not a gamer or into AI hype, with credit card offers and bumped up Exchange price of a 4 year old phone I am getting the phone for 72K which I feel is fantastic value for money.

      @@agamsharma6409 Well even if you take a plunge for the occasional gaming then also the phone won't disappoint you. Since we focus more on cameras we dont feature the gaming content in the video. But we do test those out for sure.
      Wow. 72k is a great price and surely value for money.

      Surprising. Might be that the camera is adjusting the aperture position. But honestly I haven't heard that happening yet in any phone. If the performance of the phone isn't affected then I dont think it should be an issue.

  • @vishallanke

    Does camera invite more scratches and that’s why may not be reliable in long term using phone for few years as camera module is big ?

    • @rkvrakav
      @rkvrakav 2 дня назад +1

      No.. it is pure steel body, and the angle of keeping camera downwards makes sure the glass portion doesn't touch the surface... plus it comes with gorilla glass protection for lens as well.. so all in all you camera is always safe... I am using it for 6+months now and there is not even a micro scratch on anywhere on the device...

    • @AsianPhotographyMagazine
      @AsianPhotographyMagazine  День назад +1

      @vishallanke - in the over 15 years of use I haven’t seen cameras getting scratched unless it cracks on impact from falling. And over the years the tensile strength of the glass has also improved phenomenally. So most phones won’t have the issue with scratching, etc.

      The battery life is pretty good. 5400 mAH ki battery hai and that usage is subjective so it depends on how each individual uses its. But for a moderate user it can surely last a day.

    I have both x100 pro and s23ultra..... I have used pixel 8 pro also...... i felt that compared to samsung, x100 pro take clear shots whereas samsung is having too much noise..... dont know why other reviewers tell about it. Samsung needs to fix the oversharpening and noise in their photos specially in artificial and low light

  • @NishkarshGupta

    Commenting from X100 Pro only.
    If a consumer is obsessed with iPhone and OnePlus, then they will think 1000 times before buying a Vivo phone.
    But if a person is open minded and have a good knowledge about technology, then they will not leave the opportunity to buy this phone in such a Good Price.
    One thing I want correct you about the 4k Feature which you mentioned that it's not there but they provided the Front Camera to shoot in 4K 60fps as well.

    • @AsianPhotographyMagazine
      @AsianPhotographyMagazine  21 день назад

      That's true. But usually when a user chooses a phone brand then it's not often that they are willing to change it, unless something has gone horribly wrong with their experience.
      As for the update on the front camera - that camera after our review. :)

    sir please suggest wheather I should go for x100 for a less price or x100pro. The 16,516gb variant of both phones I am getting a difference of 16400/- . For that difference is the price difference justified. I am concerned about camera performance only.
    Secondly no youtuber is openly talking about x100 and x100 pro camera differences. Is there any embargo on everyone untill 31st January(the offer end date)??

    • @AsianPhotographyMagazine
      @AsianPhotographyMagazine  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi. The Pro is much better overall system and I think considering that you won’t change your phone for 2-3 years you should go for it instead of the 100.
      I don’t think there is any embargo. The challenge is that the devices aren’t made available yet to most of the community.
