A little musical trivia... Gilbert O'Sullivan was taught how to play piano by his best friend, Rick Davies, who later went on to form the group Supertramp.

RUclips doesn't quite get the HD video quality but the sound comes thru perfectly. Jim Boggia if you ever read this, the way you play from minute 04:30 plus is exquisite! P.S. you play it perfectly on the album too.

That's obviously not true. There's been countless versions of Gilbert OSullivans song and many are mediocre but some of them are pretty fine indeed.
Wrong. This version is so totally nails on a chalkboard. And full of self-importance. Horrible.

Jonathan is anything but average. Try listening to the recorded studio version from his album - you may like it better (or not). Sample it at music.apple.com/us/album/some-guys/1455551659 or Amazon, spotify, etc.
That was my feeling too. It doesn't really capture the feeling of the words.

jonathan did a great job singing this and of course his bad did amazing playing it as well.
