First things first, everyone should watch Hunter x Hunter. It's rated #3 on MyAnimeList for a reason! Once I heard this song, I immediately thought of the best friendship in anime history -- Killua and Gon :) So I wanted to make a tribute video to Killua for his loyalty to Gon. He learns so much from Gon and is changed so much by Gon... and in turn he goes through so much crap for Gon's sake... THE FEELS D:
This was a very fun video to make, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. As for editing, it was the first time I paid so much attention to the content vs. the effects so I would say that I've learned a lot, though it was tedious going through 148 episodes. :D

Being gay doesn’t start at 18, so a 12 yo can be gay. If people want to see their relationship as something as more than friendship they are allowed to. What’s not cool is to push the idea of sexual relationships on the 12 year old boys, but here there wasn’t any mention of something sexual :)

I’m gonna say it again : seeing them as gay is just as fine and acceptable as seeing them as straight since we don’t have informations on their sexuality, being gay at 12 is not being a creep, being gay at 16 is not being a creep, being gay is not being a creep. I swore my heart just sped up. I saw their whole future before my eyes.
A beautiful and strong bond.
A pure and amazing friendship.
It’s not all about the ship... I hate people who are so focused on the ship and don’t see how beautiful their friendship actually is... as soon as those people see them interact they go full fujoshi/fudanshi on them... I’m not saying I hate the ship- in fact, I also ship Killua x Gon or Gon x Killua but I treasure their *friendship* so... so much more.
This song surprisingly fits with Killua as a friend to Gon.
Before I started getting into this, I thought, “Ehh... hope it’s not gonna be one of those those extremely long animes that is extremely long for no reason~”
I realize how much more I want of HxH. The ending was so damn bittersweet. When I rewatch all those moments from the beginning and so on, I realize what an amazing anime this is. It’s definitely one of my favorites. The way it ended though...

I’m so happy Killua was able to actually enjoy a friendship in his life. His family is like literal demons towards him. (not all of them)
He's an absolute angel when it comes to Gon, but he will fight for him! That's why I clicked on this video, he is 100% an angel with a shotgun!
Killua is one of my favorite characters in Anime period. Definitely in the top 3. Not just because of how strong, fast and bad ass he is, especially with the lightning, which I'm literally obsessed with. The speed and the lightning that is. The flash is my favorite superhero, long before the CW show as well. But the other reason why I love him so much is the bond he has with Gon and the others, and that need to protect Gon at any cost. That love for his friends is something he learned throughout the series, and he learned to not be such a cold-blooded assassin as well, which was the only thing I did not like about him, besides his childish looking original outfit. I love that outfit with the long sleeved black shirt, it looks so awesome and grown-up on him. Anyway, Killua get's a 5 out of 5 in my book for having a great personality, strength throughout the show, and being and looking like a total bad ass all the while. As it turns out, this ended up being a review of the character. Huh, oops.

One of the most heartbreaking scene was when Killua ran through the forest carrying him out and Gon said Killua did not care about Kite as much as he did . So much pain and guilt in Gon he lashed out at his best friend , which is very unusual even in any situation . Brilliant writing.

HxH fans really are passionate, even the AMVs are way better than the usual stuff I come across.. I mean sure there are also crap ones, but overall it's like damn... most really capture the essence of the story and relationships built.

I was sad too but he needed to get away from Gon. Without realizing it, Gon was taking advantage of Killua and Killua was too devoted to understand. Hopefully while they're apart Gon can learn to appreciate him and Killua can learn to appreciate himself. (Also was I the only one bitter than the first person Gon apologized to wasn't Killua?)

I got more and more annoyed every time Gon didnt have to suffer any consequences for his rash and selfish behavior. He chose to go against the plan with Gethru and got his hands messed up, but in the same episode he's healed (important to note that Killua used the card to heal Gon rather than his own hands). Then he feels he must beat razor and so knowingly sacrifices Killuas hands to win (granted he got pissed in the first place because Razor almost killed Killua). He wins the game with no physical cost to himself while Killua is saddled with finishing greed island without his hands. in a blind rage for Kite, He faces Pitou alone, thoughtlessly with little regard for the people ALIVE who love him and destroys himself with his contract only to be healed once more by Killua. But at least this time he has to deal with having no nen so hopefully he'll learn to be more careful and cautious and he'll mature mentally and not just physically.He and Killua are great characters and I love them together but they need to part to learn more about themselves and each other, y'know

You couldn't have picked a more suited song for this video. Killua really would go to the worst of an extent, jeopardize everything he has because he values and loves gon so much. Killua, granted a place in heaven(his family, sister, funds, etc) values his friendship even more, because he is a realistic man that knows and understands so much of his friend. Gon is the least extreme version, unaware, but truly genuine human being, whereas killua is someone who has walked through hell back and forth, a hell deluded heaven, where he rather give up everything, just for his friend, as gon would for kite.

In this sense, Killua's relationship with Gon was very toxic. They're great friends. But Gon doesn't put nearly enough effort into their friendship as Killua. Gon is too busy chasing after his dreams to look beside him, which is what Killua admired him for. But by the end of the Chimera Ant arc Killua realised this. And that he needed to put some distance between himself and Gon. It's a heartbreaking separation, but much needed. Gon needs time to mature before the two of them can meet up again.

Sitting here sobbing because this video was done so perfectly, composing one thousand moments and all of that raw emotion and turning into an embodiment of everything both Killua and the viewers went through as he grew in his friendship with Gon and his personal goals... This is beautifully done and just so amazing the way all of the clips were edited to flow and appear at the perfect times... I feel like I'm the only one who marathons Hunter x Hunter, but once I get to the last episode, I just go back to the beginning. I can't bare to watch it, knowing that the anime is finished and the manga isn't mainly about Killua, so I can't see him beat up people or the precious bond between Gon and Killua.
I guess it's because I LOVE the bond between those two and I'm really jealous that Killua and Gon had best friends that would do literally anything for each other and would always back you up. I don't even have people who I could call 'a true friend'. I have "friends" who are my classmates, but I only see them in school. I like them and all. They're nice; We've been together since Kindergarten, but we separated after 8th and never got to see them again. Then I have "friends" who I've known for all my life, but we're just people who were friends in the past. We're living our own lives. I can't even tell them what I'm really thinking, because they don't know the real me despite knowing me for a real long time. So seeing these two and this AMV really makes me want to breakdown and cry and hurry up and find a friend who I can depend on and can tell he/she anything that's troubling me.
It's even sadder when I watched this AMV because I could just label each event that's in this AMV with having one or two wrongs. It's so sad that HxH's manga could even take years before giving us the proper ending or even that HxH's manga artist might die and we would never even be able to see the ending play out.
I really love this anime, but it's just sad. They go through all kinds of trails with us watching them and then they have to separate. When Killua and Gon started to talk, I was barely able to hold my tears (I didn't cry, watching this AMV, but was close). I started to slowly break down as my jealously grew.
Thanks to those who are reading this! This AMV is truly amazing. Hunter x Hunter will always have a place in my heart. :)

I read your whole comment, and I completely understand, I'm also on a HXH marathon, but i also enjoy watching other anime of this season as well...but anyways....i'm with you, don't be depressed, and never lose hope!! I mean that's what HXH has taught us right?? I know people say that it might never get completed, I know the condition of the author, but my heart refuses to accept that I won't see those four ever again or that HXH won't get completed.....I just haven't lost faith yet and so shouldn't you!!!!!!! and why would you feel lonely and jealous??? I mean, when I watch the show, I feel like I'm with them, I feel like I'm a part of their life, and they're defiantly a huge part of my life, I feel like I'm also their friend, and I love them.....I grew up watching them, I was the same age as them (but not any more lol).....it might sound weird but.... you should feel the SAME!!! what I mean is think of killua, gon, kurapika and leorio as your friends....because a friend is someone you enjoy being with.....and i know you and us fans enjoy the time we spent watching them....so aren't they our friends as well???

I mean the only reason why I'm jealous of their relationship is because I don't anyone who I can trust. I love and practically adore their relationship because of the very reason that no one would ever do that or I would never be able to be that one person who can be relieved on. I just want their personalities sometimes, since I'm not even out-going and I'm just a lazy person. They (Gon and Killua) are friends because of how they are, but I can't make friends because I don't have that kind of personality.

Omg. I'm done with the anime today. Killua is an amazing character. Sure he is a badass, but his backstory & loyalty towards Gon and Alluka is admirable. I definitely don't ship Killua with anyone romantically, but his friendship with Gon & siblinghood with Alluka are the best.
