The way the late Princes of Wales raised her sons really shows. They are all class. The Prince Harry is just top notch. Kate is just like Diana, pleasant, affable and not the least bit snobbish. The monarchy is safe in their hands. Nice video. Nicely done.
The video was very nice. Very close. Thank you. Pity Her Majesty doesn't walk about some. But she is advanced in years, although in excellent health. I think she tends now to be protective of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh who's had a few pneumonia scares. He was hospitalized during the thanksgiving service at St Paul's for her 60 ascension anniversary and she looked genuinely miserable with him absent
What do you think of using music from Cinderella by 12 year old English composer Alma Deutscher in Meghan and Harry's wedding? The entire English version of the opera is on RUclips as "American premier of Alma Deutscher's Cinderella 2017". Acts 2 and 4 of the 4 act work have especially poignant music.
Even as an American, I'm struck by the informality with which the public seems to greet the family as they encounter them. Does anyone curtsy or bow to them if they speak with them or come over to them? Or refer to them as "Your Royal Highness"? If that seems silly, I don't imagine it seems silly to royalists or those who would come out to see them in a situation like this. The questions people asked were out of care, but I suppose I imagined, or would show, more reserve or deference in such a situation.
Philacav I notice that too. But it seems to be with the younger royals. I think most Brits - most everyone - is awed by Her Majesty and HRH the Duke of Edinburgh. I suppose when Prince William is king and Kate is his Queen, there will be more formality. I don't think Prince Harry cares much for formality but accepts that is part of his role when he is in some official capacity such as reviewing troops on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen
The royal family has become very personal with the people and I love it. It stems from the days when the King and Queen would come out on the streets after the air raids during the war. The Queen, even in her old age, is always happy to do a walk about.
Queen Elizabeth the first and Queen Elizabeth II are both related to me I wish Queen Elizabeth the second will acknowledge my family as being royalty.does her family's blood runs through my family
Barbara Treadaway I related to Queen Elizabeth I and 2 as well. I am related to William Penn who founded Pennsylvania who is also directly related to the Tudor royal dynasty. William Penn grandfather's name was John Tudor who changed it to Penn. Names like Shelton and Loving also have Royalty connections. My mother's side also has Royalty because that is where I have heritage and kinship to William Penn.
Barbara Treadaway It's very true that many people who had royal ancestry connections happen to exist. Millions of people who exist truly have some sort of ancestry, even in ancient times in Europe there were chieftains that were like kings in tribe's. Ancient civilization or prehistoric times of the old world. Hard to say who might be related to an Egyptian pharaoh or emperor somewhere. It happens that the human race is the human race. In the Shelton ancestry the the De Sheldon brothers who had the Skeleton Castle somewhere in England were descendent to a Duke that was related to Charlemagne. So where does ancestry come down to my connection, my great grandmother was a Shelton by blood. Queen Elizabeth I/ll is related to the same connection, but Elizabeth ll is a very, very, very distant relative to me.
Shirley RB It's what people want. Just like visiting schools, factories and charities. If they weren't sent several thousand invitations a year they wouldn't do it. You don't see a value in it, but the people who issue the invitations do, and that's what matters. A visit by a member of the Royal Family is seen as national recognition.
Oh Diana ,you would be SO PROUD of each of them 🌷🌷🌷

Harry is like his mom
Look at H being trapped,,
Now kate is dressing and acting like the future queen. And diana would be very proud ov her sons.
My BFF is 19 in line for the throne and once she is queen I can live in the castle and so will are twin husbands and Yorkie dogs
That's rude. This is what Emma told me.
Bye the way I'm only 8.
You're friends with the Hon. Charles Armstrong-Jones?

Our royal family are very informal themselves. But yes one would bow/curtsy at official/private meetings.

That's a JOB? Shaking hands for a FEW minutes with the WORKER BEES/TAXPAYERS. They more than likely can't stand shaking hands. 😁
